I was driving myself nuts trying to get all the little stuff out of the pool everyday by using a only a skimmer net. I finally broke down and bought this little guy since I couldn't see myself spending hundreds on an automatic vacuum. So glad I did! It literally only took like 10 min or so to do the pool and OMG it was so clean! I ordered some skimmer socks and put one over top this net (tightened underneath the little rope) and it catches all the really fine stuff.

I took a chance on ordering this for our above found pool. We have leafs that I would not come to surface but I didn’t want to spend to much on a vacuum. I decided to order the one and I use surprised how well and quickly it sucked all the leafs up. My only complaint is that it won’t vacuum up the very fine dirt/sand due to the mesh bag, it strains right through it. Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. But I would say 100% worth the money for larger debris on the pool floor. It was easy to use, light weight and worked well

Does it work? To a point, yes. If you can't afford, or don't want to pay the much higher prices of the other vacuums, then this is ok. We have a 16' above ground pool, and this does get some of the debris off the bottom of the pool. You need to go slow, and keep a hold of the water hose - otherwise it comes off! Also be sure to *really* tighten the bag, otherwise that comes off as well! So as long as everything is attached perfectly, and the debris you want to vacuum isn't a large leaf or small algae particles then this is a great product! Also be prepared to get in the pool to clean as the handle is very short! We got it to clear debris from a storm, and despite its issues, it did clear about 80% of the stuff at the bottom of the pool. So it's a win in my book!

This little vacuum is fantastic, I honestly didn't expect it to work as well as it did. If you have a smaller pool..like a blow up pool or a kiddie pool I do recommend taking some water out before using the vacuum as the water being forced through the hose for suction will add lots of water to your pool. Other than that it's perfect and if you have littles you can let them sit in the pool and guide the vacuum with the hose instead of the handle. I highly recommend it.

Item is made cheap! Instructions are not clear. The 1st time I used it pieces kept coming apart while I was using the scrubber in the water. I don’t think it was user error, I think it is poorly made cheap products. I had to keep connecting the pieces over and over and finally once everything stayed in place there was debris in the net. I will not be using this item again as it is extremely frustrating for it to keep coming apart while I am scrubbing my pool.

I was in search for a pool skimmer and I had purchased one that attached to the filters but I ended up returning. And I didn’t want to use those electric vacuums for my above ground pool 16ft. This was a great and easy alternative where I simply plugged the hose in and it sucked all the leaves in. I recommend!

I had been using a vacuum system that came with my above ground pool (9' x 18'). It hooked up to my sand filter and needed to be cleaned out every few minutes. I hated it!! After seeing the reviews on this vacuum, I decided to buy it. I am really glad I did. I didn't need to clean the netting until after I was finished cleaning the entire pool. What used to take an hour or more with backbreaking word, only took maybe 20 minutes total. It connects to your garden hose and uses water for the amazing suction power, so no disassembling the sand filter pumping system! I recommended this to my son who also has an above ground pool. He will be buying one!
