The low price point for this made me wonder if it would work, but it absolutely does a great job! I have another suction pool vacuum that connects to my pool’s pump, but sometimes it’s difficult to set it up. With this jet vacuum I can hook it up to the garden hose and start cleaning within 2 minutes. It’s been great at sucking up all the pine needles and bugs at the bottom of my pool. My pool has never been cleaner. Also easy enough to use that teenagers or adults with no pool experience could figure out how to use it without problems. I took a chance on ordering this for our above found pool. We have leafs that I would not come to surface but I didn’t want to spend to much on a vacuum. I decided to order the one and I use surprised how well and quickly it sucked all the leafs up. My only complaint is that it won’t vacuum up the very fine dirt/sand due to the mesh bag, it strains right through it. Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. But I would say 100% worth the money for larger debris on the pool floor. It was easy to use, light weight and worked well ... show more

Pros: The scrubber at the end of the suction part is really great for cleaning any stuck-on debris (or accumulated algae) at the bottom of the pool. This device is super easy to snap together and pretty straightforward in getting the host attached. Suction is great and I was able to use it immediately. The connection from the vacuum to the hose was a bit tricky and took a few times. Make sure you attach the connection to the hose first then snap the connector into the vacuum. Cons: I got this little vacuum cleaner to get rid of the algae that fell to the floor (I used a coagulant made for pools to "sink" it to the bottom for vacuuming). The algae immediately broke apart and flowed freely through the mesh bag. I'm going to try to rig up a regular cloth bag and see if that helps. ... show more

Claims it picks up leaves/needles. When first used it, it did not at all. Not even a few needles. Very disappointed in product. Also pole is very cheap and weak. Probably needs a bigger, wider base and stronger pole. Pole actually curved when put together as the connections/clips are cheap. A lot of water came through but never picked up anything. It is very hard to believe one of the pictures in previous review really had the mesh bag full! of leaves. I gave this product one star to reflect the price. The quality and what it claims to do is very misleading. ... show more

I was driving myself nuts trying to get all the little stuff out of the pool everyday by using a only a skimmer net. I finally broke down and bought this little guy since I couldn't see myself spending hundreds on an automatic vacuum. So glad I did! It literally only took like 10 min or so to do the pool and OMG it was so clean! I ordered some skimmer socks and put one over top this net (tightened underneath the little rope) and it catches all the really fine stuff. ... show more

Very well made. Inexpensive. Easy to use just attach your garden hose. For above ground pools. Easy to clean and has good suction and net to collect debris. Has brushes underneath that turn to sweep up bottom.
