Whoa!! I'm a guy with brain trauma and this item was easy to put together and use!! It worked perfect.... just note once you see the dirty water from the little white sack of the pool vac ....pull out the hose to dump the little bag and then continue.... my pool had lots of sand/ dirt .... but was surprised that it actually worked... It's a solid buy.... Don't forget to follow the next day or after everything settles to the bottom again! ... show more

Feels cheap, because it is. But it works great! My only suggestion is to pull it out of the water before you pull the house off or it will back flush into the pool.

This thing broke into pieces the first time I used it. I also can't figure out how it works. There's a spot to attach a water hose, but nowhere for the water to flow, it's closed off!

I must admit I was skeptical as to whether this little gadget would work. I have an upright pool and there was a fair amount of debris that had settled on the bottom. I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a pool vacuum, so I thought I would give this a try. Here is my experience for those considering this purchase: Pros: To my pleasant surprise, the concept of this vacuum does work. It cleaned out most of the debris admirably. Cons: It pushes a lot of water into the pool rapidly. By the time I had finished vacuuming, the pool was overly full with water. Also, I am a single female in my 60s. The assembly requires squeezing together the prongs at the end of a plastic pin to push it in and out of the housing of the vacuum. Although I am reasonably adept at many mechanical tasks, I had neither the strength nor the dexterity to successfully accomplish that motion and had to ask for assistance from a neighbor. ... show more

This is a water flow powered vacuum. The better the water flow the better the results. I was shocked at how well it worked! Perfect for my 7 x 14 above ground pool.

Ok price for the quality. But the bag only fills up 1/3 of the way before needing to be emptied. Then items get stuck at the bottom part where it goes into the bag. Plus the water hose running none stop and having a small pool it fills the pool up with water and causes it to over flow because the vacuum doesn’t work fast enough to clean the pool of fine debris like sand before the pool is full of water. Just overall not a good purchase for small above ground pools. ... show more
