These making cooking and BBQing so much easier, by simply turning these upside down, you've got fresh ground salt and pepper. I love how these particular units are rechargeable via a charging base, and they have a dedicate on and off switch. That has proven handy when taking them camping or to AirBnB's. Our Salt Grinder broke so here I come to buy a new set, only to discover that there are automatic grinders ?? What?? How did I never know about this? I bought this set, because it was on sale, cheaper than the other ones and said it had a larger capacity. I've had it a week now and I've already gone through almost all the salt. I was unsure if I would like the lid on top, but it's fine. It doesn't get in the way (too much) I have ended up with sour cream on it two different times. Learning curve! The light is helpful at times, not helpful at other times. I like the one hand cooking, I can stir and salt at the same time. It grinds a little slow but if not you probably would end up with a hill of salt. It does not come with a base charger, just a USB cord. It comes with the batteries and they are charged. I had to dig around to find one of my old cell phone bases so it took 2 days for me to locate on and the charge it came with lasted until I found it. I love these salt and pepper grinders. All you do is fill them up, switch to on and flip them upside down when you want to season you food and viola, easy peasy. If you are cooking ,you will never have to use two hands to grind your salt or pepper again! Holds 2.3 oz. for fewer refills. See pictures for features. I've had mine for a month now and I can't believe I didn't order them sooner! Excuse the spices all over but I cook every day. They also come with a homebase charger. They look good and they work but the grind size does not change no matter how you turn the knob. I dont think that part works at all as it just spins around. Have had for about 10 months.
