  • Excellent product!
Size: 14-Cup Color: Stainless Steel
This was the blessing I didn't know that I needed. I never dreamed I would use this tool as often as I do. I have mastered pesto's, pasta's, sauces, you name it! My very first endeavor was making pasta, which I was very intimidated by. It made it so easy! We love a good filet and asparagus and the best sauce for that is hollandaise sauce, and this food processor made it a breeze, and it is so delicious! My favorite thing to do is to puree garlic and herbs with my food processor and freeze it in small silicone molds to keep on hand to use while cooking. The garlic grinds so well it is almost a paste and works perfectly for my needs. I have loaded this little machine down and I have never worried about overloading it. She is a chopping, slicing, grinding, blending powerhouse! You can throw everything into the dishwasher which makes clean up a breeze, or just quickly wash it to re-use immediately. I am almost tempted to buy a second unit to keep in storage just as a backup incase anything ever happens to this one. ... show more

  • Excellent! Powerful, Quiet, Easy to Clean.
Size: 11-Cup Color: White
My wife purchased the 11 cup version after returning a processor bought from another store. That food processor was noisy and had so many parts to clean (5 including a gasket). This food processor is sturdy, quiet, powerful and easy to clean. It has a nifty additional cover that is not so tall and can be used for everything you make except when using the slicer blades which makes it very compact to store in tight spaces. The price was excellent at the time she purchased it $129.99. ... show more

  • A testament to fine American engineering
Size: 14-Cup Color: Stainless Steel
The cylinder over rectangle industrial design of this Cuisinart food processor looks outdated in the age of the iPhone. However, its powerful motor drives its cutting blades with the quiet confidence and effortless refinement of a luxury car. Though it looks the part on the set of Back to the Future, Cuisinart clearly hasn't been resting on its laurels. Every piece in the kit has been carefully considered and built with quality: plastic parts are reinforced with steel where they rub, the latch on the cylinder is metal and parts fit together with satisfying precision. When it runs empty, the only sound it makes is of the blade cutting through air. This machine is so well-balanced that it doesn't vibrate or rattle and the powerful motor is completely silent. If there is any reason to celebrate American engineering incrementally improved over the past 50+ years, this is it. This machine sits next to my KitchenAid stand mixer, both iconic kitchenware for decades, and both could well outlast one lifetime of use. ... show more

  • An excellent smaller unit at a lower price
Size: 11-Cup Color: White
We downgraded from a 14-cup model after its bowl wore out. This 11-cup version is less powerful and less sturdy but comes with all of the blades most people want, at a much lower price. Of course, its liquid capacity is lower: making 2 cups of salsa works but 3 cups are too much. Its motor is adequate but not as fast as the bigger model. On the plus side, it's a bit smaller and easier to store, comes with three slicing disks and a chopping blade, a spatula plus an additional lid for when you are only chopping (not using a feed tube). Overall, it's hard to beat this entire package, unless you must have that bigger, stronger, sturdier but significantly higher cost 14-cup model. ... show more

  • Ideal Size for Small Apartments, Packs Enough Power, but requires Careful Handing and Handwashing
Size: 7-Cup Color: White
I’ve been using my 7-Cup Pro Classic regularly—at least three dozen times since purchasing it in late February 2025—and it continues to meet my food processing needs. I prepare whole week meals for 1-2 people, and bake 2-3 times per week. The wattage, work bowl size, and functions are well-suited for my kitchen, a galley-style space in a 600 sq. ft. NYC apartment. It’s reliable, easy to clean, holds power when fully loaded, and is intuitive to operate. Based on performance, I’m giving it four stars. Why Four Stars? A few limitations keep it from being perfect: 1. Dishwasher Concerns – I hand wash the work bowl and lid because many reviews report heat warping in the dishwasher. While I don’t mind handwashing, this could be a drawback for frequent users. I will not be dishwashing any components aside from the stainless blade. 2. Durability of Plastic – This is my first personal food processor, but I grew up using a 14-Cup Professional Classic. The older model’s work bowl felt thicker and more durable (on the order of 1 to 2 millimeters thicker), while the 7-Cup Classic’s plastic seems more brittle and prone to cracking. I handle it carefully, but I have prepared myself for the bowl and/or lid to crack from normal use, and well before the motor gives out. Extending bowl thickness, as well as introducing a metal mechanism for the base safety lock, could significantly improve parts longevity. Conclusion Despite these minor issues, I strongly recommend the 7-Cup Pro Classic. I chose it over the KitchenAid 7- and 9-Cup processors (reported quality and lid/bowl locking design issues) and the Cuisinart Core Custom 10-Cup (concerns over its plastic clutch/drive system and noise). This model strikes a great balance of performance and size, making it a solid choice. ... show more
