These are so cute and heavy duty that I had to also buy the butter dish to match. Now I may need to look for more items to match this decor in the kitchen! I washed them up right away and put salt/pepper in them and they cleaned up nice. I'm happy to say they don't pour out the spices and give a nice spread of salt and pepper. Very happy with them. The lids don't twist hard and tighten nicely without getting crooked like some do. Good buy for the money.
