I wanted to change the colors in my kitchen so have been replacing things with red and black accessories. I thought these shakers were cute. They are also very useful. They are made of glass and appear to be painted on the inside. They are very durable. I keep them next to the stove and use them daily. They are very easy to fill. I didn't measure how much they hold but the pepper one took almost a full can of pepper. I have been using them for weeks and they are still over half full.
