I haven't always had good luck with shakers. Some rust, some pour out too much or too little, some just don't look good. These are nice looking and good quality. They work well too. I liked them so much, I bought a pair as a stocking stuffer for a couple just starting out.

They’re not heavy but their substantial weight makes them feel more expensive than what they are. These shakers look good and work well. I've had a few minor issues that lowers the rating for me. Salt collects on the inside rim of the container and when opening the container to refill it, it spills everywhere.
