I bought this back in March to replace my parent's clunky computer, and I still can't believe how small it actually is. It fits right under the monitor and barely takes up any space on the desk, which is great because they hate clutter. We've been using it for almost a year now, and it is honestly a lightning horse. Everything opens instantly, and it handles all photo editing without slowing down or getting hot. I really love that they put the ports on the front now, it makes it so much easier to plug in a drive or my headphones without having to fumble around the back blindly. It’s sleek, quiet, and just works perfectly. Parents loves it and so do I.

Bought this about 6 months ago when I needed a more powerful gaming and audio visual computer for work and play. I have a 6-year-old MacBook Air but felt that I didn't make enough use of the MacBook Air in terms of gaming to warrant buying a $2100 computer. So I decided to go for this puppy instead and have it just at home since I have a home office that I generally work from 3 days a week. So far it's been nothing but fantastic. Load super fast, everything runs very smoothly, plenty of memory and integrates well into all the peripherals that I have. My only small gripe is that it's connected to an Alienware monitor and sometimes the monitor doesn't wake up when I need it to. Apart from that, amazing!

Powerhouse, running two different local LLM's on it. I love this mac mini. I have even dragged it around with me to hotels during business travel with a portable monitor and it works perfectly. Not as convenient as a macbook pro, but with the M4, processing most tasks I do is done efficiently and fast. Runs cool, keeps me on track and can be mobile when needed.

Bought this from Amazon as they applied the seasonal discount to the purchase price rather than issuing a gift card. For the most part am pleased with this computer, but since I was trying to save a few bucks by purchasing a third party monitor and peripherals, it did take some extra effort to get this system set up and functioning as desired. The biggest challenge with this unit is the number of power buttons one has to navigate to fully power up or down this computer and all its peripherals. After spending several decades with an all in one iMac, having to turn on and off each component separately is somewhat of a pain. Also, since there are no user upgrade options for this device (RAM memory or internal storage), I bought a unit with more than the base memory and storage, so it would work somewhat longer at an acceptable speed.

Got this as a music production computer, upgrading from a Windows i7 11700 processor with 32 GB RAM. This Mac mini blows away my old computer. I am able to push it with very intense sessions (over 100 tracks; lots of plugins; sessions that completely froze my old computer (which was still a very good computer)), and it doesn't even flinch. My work flow is so much smoother with no more interruptions having to bounce tracks or any of those other things we normally have to do to save CPU. Very happy with this upgrade purchase.
