I'm reserving future judgement on this product because this is the SECOND set I've purchased from Circle Joy HK. The first set I purchased was a similar model but had an internal grind adjustment. This new one is external and is easier to use. The main issue I had with the first set is that after 7 months, (past the warranty) I was preparing a meal and when I went to salt the sauce in the pan the entire grinder head came apart and fell in the sauce. Needless to say, I have a bit of apprehension with this purchase, but I'm willing to accept the breakage as a one off. All manufacturing has an expected reasonable percentage of manufacturing errors that may slip through QC and go out to the consumer. I understand that I could just be one of the unfortunate end users that fell into that very small percentile. That said, however, there is always the chance that the manufacturer has a serious quality control issue. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt with this second purchase. Should something break prematurely again, I guess I'll have my answer and will update this review accordingly. For now I will say that this set looks really good, as they all do. The weight and feel in your hand is good. I especially like that there is a physical "slider switch" for the On-Off function. The other model I had was a pressure sensitive switch that was clunky and required too much pressure to operate. The external adjustment for the grinder head is a plus and so far works smoothly. You do, however, need to keep the grinder head cleaned, witch they did provide a little bush to do just that. All-in-all, this set is operating well, they look and feel great, and the price wasn't bad. The only thing I would suggest as an improvement would be to include a brighter led in future models as it just isn't that illuminating

I’m overall very happy with these electric salt and pepper grinders. They look sleek, feel sturdy, and grind smoothly. The LED light is a nice touch and helps with visibility while cooking. One small disappointment: while I wasn’t expecting them to be fully preloaded, I did expect a small starter amount of salt and pepper. Also, the grinders dispense for slightly longer than I prefer after activation. Neither issue is major, but worth noting. Despite that, the quality and performance are solid, and I’m still very content with the purchase. I’d recommend them if you’re looking for a modern, hands-free grinder set.

I love these. I prefer these because they are battery run and I don’t have to charge them. Adjusting the coarseness of the grind is easy and they look great by my stove. They seem to be solid and of quality material. I would definitely recommend these!

I really like these! Just slide the button and turn upside down and fresh pepper and salt! The light is a nice touch as well! The battery lasts a long time! You can adjust the size of the grains of pepper. It’s not a noisy as other models that I’ve tried. A lot easier than the manual turning grinders! Would definitely recommend. I bought another for a present and they love it! Especially since she had surgery on her hands and wrists. Definitely taste the difference in the flavoring with the fresh pepper and salt
