I've been wasting money on phone mounts for years. I've had the ones that sit in your cupholder, the ones that stick to your dashboard, stick to your windshield, hang from the rearview mirror.. I've had every kind of phone mount you can imagine and they're all trash. They either take up too much space, they're in the way, they're ugly, they fall over, fall off, etc, etc. I can't speak for other models, but this is THE phone mount for the 2019 Toyota Tacoma. Idk what the other reviewer was talking about when they said the adhesive doesn't stick cuz it sticks fine. I used an ArmorAll cleaning wipe to fully remove all the dust on my dashboard, then wiped it down with the cloth the mount comes with (which is a surprisingly good quality cloth btw. lol). Once the area was completely dry and clear of debris, I installed the mount, then left it to sit and fully adhere to the dash for a few hours before using it (letting it sit may not be necessary. That's just what I did). I've had zero problems with this phone mount so far. My phone fits in it perfectly, the mount itself fits the dash perfectly, there's a gap at the bottom for you to plug in your phone while driving, it sticks solid to the dash (no wobbling or vibrating like you see with other mounts), doesn't take up an unnecessary amount of space, and it actually looks nice on the dashboard! Two thumbs WAY up on this one. I couldn't be happier with this purchase and would definitely recommend this phone mount to anyone with a Tacoma listed in the description of compatible year models. Love the idea that I can use an older smartphone with Hey Google and have a great navigation aid on my dash. Voice controlled, accurate, and handy, wish I had found this before my last 2,515 mile trip, a couple of weeks ago. It looks good and operates well, so far so good.     • Adhesive Issue?
Simple install. Prepped the site as instructed, waited over 48 hours before putting any weight on it. Worked good while it was cold outside, but first warm day the adhesion started to give. Plus the build quality just isn't that good.

I love this mount. It's amazing. Best mount for this car and looks great! However the mount survived freezing idaho winter and some of an unseasonably hot summer. It fell off recently and that's frustrating as I don't know what Adhesive to use to reattach or if that will even work. The people claiming user error kudos to you for yours staying but I followed the instructions to a T! Hoping the mfg can reach out to offer me a solution because its a fantastic product! ... show more

It works great. Some people complain about adhesion but most likely they don't do it right. I put this on the night before and then went 4x4 the next day with my heavy S21 ultra phone in it and it didn't even budge going up mountains or deep pot holes. Its still been solid ever since too. So follow directions people and you will get the same result. June 26th 2024: those complaining about adhesion again just to prove yall wrong. The temp has been in the 100s. Usually adhesion fails in long heat exposure. It STILL holds up off-road through hills and on bumpy street travel. So adhesive issues are solely from user error. Cuz I can't put this through any more abuse without taking a hammer to it. ... show more

Easy installation. Holds iPhone with Otterbox Defender. I constantly rotate it between horizontal and vertical and it remains very stable. It accommodates the charging cable. Outstanding design!
