It is one of the more expensive laptop sleeve cases on Amazon and I suspect for good reason. It offers great impact protection on the corners and on the top and bottom flat surfaces. This is absolutely perfect for my needs. I have a backpack that I carry my laptop with through airports, but the compartment for the laptop is not rigid, so it doesn't feel very protected. Looking at the bad reviews, you do have to know what you're getting with this to be happy with it. This is not a laptop case, so it doesn't have any room for accessories, power brick, etc. It's a laptop sleeve, just big enough to protect the laptop itself from less-than-ideal conditions. Unfortunately, it has just enough quirks to lower if from five stars to four. It has a couple of straps that can be used to hold the keyboard down, but it doesn't have straps to hold the top to the laptop lid. The bottom half of the sleeve comes a little too high, blocking ports. It's got another couple of straps keeping it from opening too far, but that's really not helpful -- and if you thought you might work around the bottom half to get to the ports, they block them even more effectively. It will be very helpful protecting my laptop this summer, but it's a missed opportunity. ... show more
