This is my second mobility scooter. The first one required too much assembly of heavy and hard to manipulated components. I needed a smaller, more lightweight, and easier-to-deploy scooter that would easily fit in the back of my SUV. Although I looked at several of the available candidates, I chose the VOCIC D71 foldable model with the upgraded battery. It came in a large shipping box and mostly assembled. Although the User Manual had next to nothing instructions for the required partial assembly, it was easy enough to figure out and required about 15 minutes after removing every thing from the box and removing protective foam and bubble wrap. I charged the battery (charger is included), which required about 3 hours (must have been partially charged). The charger itself got very hot to the touch, which was a little worrisome but no problems. It comes with a combination water bottle and telephone holder that can be attached to the front tiller. I have not yet had much riding experience, but operation is very straightforward and the direction and speed control knob are easy to use. The battery charge indicator is in color and very nicely done. This is a 4-wheel scooter, which means the turning radius is not as good as a 3-wheeler. The seat and seat-back are very minimal and are likely to not be very comfortable for long uses (one of the sacrifices for being foldable and lightweight). The relatively lightweight lithium battery can be charged either on or off the vehicle. The battery is simple to install on the scooter - simply drop it in place and it automatically plugs itself in. The scooter is very attractive and is very sturdy and solidly built. The "tires" are solid rubber, which is the usual, so the ride can be a little harsh on certain ground or pavement conditions. To be sure, this scooter is designed for efficiency in weight, portability, and compactness at the expense of luxury and lush comfort. In summary, I am so far very satisfied with my purchase. If my opinion changes as I begin to use it more, I'll come back and modify this review.

I purchased the Vocic D71 scooter in May 2025. What I love, its compact size, doesn't take up much space. The scooter maneuvers easily and at 46 pounds it can carry a maximum weight of 330 pounds, which is rare for a scooter this size. Other than attaching the tiller there was no assembly required. .......... The manual states 12.5 miles per charge, which is very misleading. I don't get anywhere near that. I live in Orlando and use the scooter to go to the parks. I can get 4 to 5 hours of use per charge. On several occasions I've had to cut visit short because the battery was running low. I want to buy an extra battery, but Vocic never has it in stock. I've called and email and the customer service sucks.

This thing has the turning radius of a Ford class aircraft carrier. Considered purchasing from TEMU, but should trouble arise, didn’t want the hassle of dealing with a Chinese company. Wanted a short distance unit that was light and easily loaded/ unloaded from a vehicle.

An absolutely amazing piece of equipment. Construction is superb. Easy to fold down and set up. Adjusts to my 5'9 frame. Fast and quiet. I highly recommend this item. A few things need to be understood to anyone purchasing one. The unit weighs 46 lbs without battery. It's a bit too heavy for elderly people with physical issues. Someone needs to be with them to put it in and out of a vehicle. It fits my Subaru Forrester perfectly. The turning radius is a little to wide for stores with narrow isles, however, if you plan ahead you can maneuver most places. The last thing it could've had a basket. I attached the cup holder to the front and turned it sidewase and hung a WalMart bag on it. None of these things are show stoppers for me. I would buy this scooter again in a heartbeat.

Simple assembly. Lighter weight than most scooters that supports over 300 lbs. and folds easily for transport or storage. Price was competitive. Very happy with purchase.
