I hate this crib with the fiery passion of a hundred sleepless nights. My baby is constantly getting his arm stuck between the slats, so putting him to bed is a game of pinball; we have to keep repositioning him until he finally falls asleep near the middle of the crib. We had a Babyletto crib for our older daughter and never had this issue, but her crib slats were flat. Something about the smooth, rounded slats on this crib makes it a baby arm trap. Additionally, one of the joins is wonky because a hole was mis-drilled; we didn’t discover it until it was almost entirely assembled and then who wants to disassemble, pack, and ship back a crib? ME! I do. I would return this baby arm trap in a heartbeat if I could. In short, you should buy this crib if you like poor quality, baby tears, and not sleeping. ... show more

I can't attest to the longevity of this crib because I've only had it a few weeks, built it, and our baby isn't arriving for a bit. But based on all the research we did and actually getting it and building it, I can say it's very nice, very sturdy, well made, and looks great. It was very easy to assemble. I would suggest having one person to help you hold up a few of the sides if possible, but you can do it alone with minimal problems. As you'd imagine, it's really just 4 sides and the mattress spring piece. It really does seem to be very well made. Once put together, it's very sturdy and looks very nice. The finish on it is gorgeous and I'd imagine this will last a long time for our needs. You'll get the toddle bed piece that comes wrapped in a piece of cardboard, so just remember to put that away safely for future use. ... show more

Beautiful crib. But there is a finish on the wood that my little one bites. I have to cover the sides with blankets because I dont know what kind of stuff is in the finish. You would think finishing or painting any childrens bedding wouldn't be allowed. I wish I knew teething babies chewed EVERYTHING before I baught a crib with a finish. ... show more

I purchased this crib and matching dresser in 2018 for my son, who is now old enough to use it as a convertible toddler bed. Overall, I have been happy with the quality and look of the set. Pros: looks high quality, sturdy, not overly difficult to assemble, the conversion kit is relatively simple to set up. Cons: The material dings/scratches very easily (be sure to put covers on the rails as soon as your kid can stand in the crib because they will probably try to chew on the rail, as mine did!), the usefulness of the convertible feature is debatable (sometimes I wish we'd just gone straight to a twin bed with rails), and the biggest con so far is that the frame/springs have started squeaking terribly in the last six months (we've had the bed just over 3 years). My husband did some tightening which has helped, but it is still pretty noisy whenever our son rolls over in bed. The cons are probably pretty universal to any convertible crib - but I do wonder if ours is extra squeaky... ... show more

The material is a really good quality, it's easy to put together and it's not as big and bulky like some other cribs I looked at. It takes a standard crib mattress. The wood is genuinely hardwood and has a smooth finish. Holes drilled smooth and the quality is exactly what I expected. It looks darling assembled and we couldn’t be happier with this product. The bed is very well made. My only request would be to make the product stickers easier to remove. We were finally able to get them off with hot water, a rough rag and some olive oil.
