I say this because people seem to miss that according to the reviews. I used my own that I had sitting around from another job. I advise changing your under the garage or seal at the same time for a really good tight fit. I ordered the gray strip as it blends better with the concrete along the opening into the garage. I had been having issues with water pooling up inside of my garage near the door after heaving rains. No matter the wind direction, there was always some sort of pooling up. Over time it started to expand even more so it led me to believe it was a combination of the poor seal on the garage door itself as well as the slant with my driveway/garage entrance so I took a gamble on this thing. I cut it down to size to span across the entire garage door (plus a lil extra), was easy enough to cut with a pair of scissors. I initially laid it down flat and let the garage door close down on it so I could outline where I needed to set this thing. Once done, I just used a bottle of liquid nails I had laying around from home depot rather than deal with any recommended adhesive (I didnt order the adhesive with my purchase). The liquid nails appears to be holding just fine. I finally had a strong rain storm the other night and there was not a spot of water in my garage so I believe this thing is doing the job its intended to do. I absolutely love it. The only thing that some people may be mindful of is the "curb" it has which may make it more difficult for people with bikes to get in/out. My vehicles go right over with no issues so its a non-factor for me. Overall, 5/5 and highly recommended. ... show more

I installed my threshold on an 8-foot-wide garage door. Other reviewers are correct when they say that one end of the product does not completely unroll. However, unless you need the entire length of the product, this would not be an issue. I highly recommend using Loctite Premium Construction Adhesive to attach the seal strip to a concrete floor. The Loctite product has excellent adhesion, and it does not dry out within its container so it can be reused as I had to do. When I originally cut my length of seal strip, I miscalculated by one inch so I attached another one inch strip a day later. The Loctite did a great job. ... show more

So far I have just cut mine to size and plopped it where I wanted it in the garage. It lays flat pretty quick even though it ships rolled up, as it’s very heavy and thick. I have a 2 car garage (2 separate doors) and this was large enough to fit one of my 2 sides of the garage. I have not stuck it on permanently, as I wish to epoxy floor paint my garage floor before permanently sticking it on. In the meantime though it does seem to help be a preventative little berm in inclement weather just when there on the ground before it’s even glued down. The weight of it helps it lay flat and stay put pretty well, although it has come askew from a harden cart rolling over it before- so I do think the gluing step will be necessary in the near future. It doesn’t come pre sticky or anything to stick it on so you would need to buy some type of applicable construction adhesive to permanently stick it. I’ve already bought another one for my second side of the garage floor and for the plywood inside bottom of my wide shed’s barn style doors. Overall I’d recommend it. ... show more

Make sure that floor is clean and level - use closed garage door is ensure good adhesion after gluing. Collects dirt at floor seam but so far hasn’t pulled up, buckled or shrank. You will have to adjust garage closer after installing.
