I've just received the unit and after about three hours of exploring all options I find it works better than expected, is quite the bargain and of quite good quality. I'll be using this unit in construction applications. There are just a few quirks: - The manual says you can use up to a 2.0 A charger but the listing here states and even warns not to use any chargers with more output than 1.0 A. Update: You must use a 1A charger! UNI-T sent a personal message to make sure of that. - The trigger does not always save the image on the first pull but after the second pull it will work every time. - It takes a while for it to fully shut down and start up. Leave it sitting for a minute before turning it back on or plug in the charger so you can see the progress bar on the charge. - The software for the PC works well but is not very polished Pros: - The thermal resolution of 256x192 is accurate. To check, in Photoshop I've resized an image I took with my phone to that resolution and then compared it to the same image taken by the thermal imager. They perfectly match in edge detail so the resolution seems to be accurate. A previous reviewer stated it has only about 25% of that resolution but I don't find that to be the case. - 25hz frame rate and good responsiveness. This is quite high compared to the 9hz other brands that cost 4 to 6 times have or compared to its direct competition from China which are similar in price. - Very rugged, well built and ip65 rated - Very good battery life - Good screen - has a protective film on it that can be removed. - Many practical features, no gimmicks - Easy to use menu and ergonomic design Overall I don't see why the competition costs around 4 to 6 times! as much with the very same feature set and next to identical technical specs. I'll report back after after I have a few hours of use on it. Update: So far so good! I've already located several air duct leaks in a cramped crawl space. The unit is plenty sensitive to spot even small temperature changes. This makes is a great tool for detecting moisture also. Couldn't be happier! 5 Stars!

I'm a homeowner who bought this to try and save some money on heating. I had a flir one that plugged into my phone. It didn't work very well and didn't fit right with my phone case. This thing is about 10x better than that. Sensor: Amazing 5/5 - I can see the studs in my outside walls, I can see at a glance what parts of my roof need better insulation, I can see what hot water pipes need insulation sleeve repair. I can look at my radiators and see if they are evenly heating and then vacuum out dust in areas of low heating. I can see where my windows need better weather stripping. It's easy to spot outlets on outside walls that need a weather insulation sleeve to go under the face plate. etc, etc, etc... The 25FPS is great! It's important for diagnosing electrical shorts. It makes the device feel more responsive. Build: 5/5 It feels really solid in your hand. This is no toy. Professional from top to bottom. The rubber grip has a great texture too. It's kinda like a fidget spinner -- hard to put down. It looks like it could take a fall and be fine. Rubber exterior resists water and dust. Display 5/5: Nice and vivid. The pallets are nice. I've been sticking with the Iron pallet. Features: 4/5: This is a full featured thermal imaging camera. They make free software you can install on your PC, but it needs to be connected via USB. Some features that would give it a 5/5: Ability to record video. Wireless connectivity for the camera and to retrieve images. The ability to cast to a display or TV. Value: 5/5: There are Flir cameras listed with way less features for thousands of dollars! 18month warranty is good too. Overall: 5/5 - This is a new favorite toy. I've been using it when cooking, finding wildlife in my yard at night, and more. Now that I'm armed with this, I feel like I have what I need to start tackling improvements to my HVAC efficiency. It's likely the last thermal imager I'll ever need.

Es un equipo practico fácil de cargar y te ayuda cuando lo necesites. Si bien la calidad de la imagen no es la mejor es muy práctica. Los temas a mejorar es la aplicación que a veces se bloquea y es un poco molesta. Y tal vez la alineación de las imágenes térmicas con las físicas. Y como no la posibilidad de que la aplicación te deje descargar las imágenes. Para poder sacarlas tengo que tomar una captura de pantalla de cada imagen y ahí pienso pierde mas calidad la imagen
