I love these lights. They look good, are super bright, motion detection works well, battery lasts a long time between charges. The only thing to know is that they are held to their mounting brackets magnetically. The lights are light, the magnets are strong and since you want to easily remove them from the brackets for charging this is a reasonable solution. However... it only takes a light tap for the lights to come off their brackets. I had thought of this as a feature, not a bug. Until this morning, when getting something from a closet shelf that had one of these lights mounted on it, I brushed the light with the back of my hand, and it fell onto my bare toe. Ouch. I added a piece of velcro and I don't think it will happen again. I'd say if you are interested totally get these lights; just mount them someplace where you are unlikely to brush against them, or think about adding a piece of velcro to the back. ... show more

Pretty cool accent to this little shelf I built out of scrap marble in our bathroom. I have them motion activated so I need to charge them every 4-5 days but they get used a lot. They are cool and don’t require being hardwired so they’d be good under kitchen cabinets as well or for a lot of applications for that matter. Its magnetic so you can pull it off and use it as a flashlight and just reattach it. I wish they stayed charged a little longer but I’m grateful for what they are and would recommend them. I had to put wooden dog steps in an area that breaks the path to my bed. I just knew I’d forget they were there and bump into them at night. This solved the problem. I did not want ugly white ones since the wood is a dark color. These are sleek! I may cover one of the two lights on each side because they are pretty bright. I LOVE that they are rechargeable! May buy more for my closets to replace the battery operated ones. Update: for my application these are way too bright and too sensitive to motion, so every time I move these light up and it’s glaring. I covered one light entirely and the one closest to the ground half way. I will need to find a night light instead. If you want bright lights that are very sensitive to motion, these are it! I will keep them and move them to a closet. Hope the base is not too difficult to remove but they are stuck on pretty tight, so ….my fault though. I should have used command strips to test them first before permanently applying them. ... show more

I purchased two sets of these, one for me and one for a friend. Theirs worked mine didn’t hold a charge. I have repeatedly told them that I was willing to send them back but the adhesive bar won’t come off my BRAND NEW CABINETS. I’m not trying to pull them off and tear up my cabinets. I was told by an amazon rep don’t worry about it you don’t have to send them back. and they will refund my money. well it’s been since January and I haven’t received my refund nor will amazon respond to my text message. I’ve spent thousands of dollars with Amazon. I hope they don’t think I would be lying about 25.00. I just don’t want to waste any money on something I can and haven’t been able to use.
