When u get to using it many thing that u didn't think could be cooked...... Toast use metal butter knife to hold down because of wind tunnel effect (blows toast up to hot grill and it burns, they should supply metal screen or something) As for problem after 2 years of use it wouldn't start, the hidden switch that is part of tray that when pulled out get worn and nothing u can do to clean it will help. My fix take switch apart and by pasted it. Hard wired around switch. Now it works great again. Only problem is the machine stays running if u pull basket out. Don't put ur hand in machine with basket out and it's running. Daaaa

I will start by saying that this air fryer does cook food well. BUT! I tried to cook toast in it and to blew the bread all over the basket and even flipped it butter side down. I was Very disappointed because I love toast cooked in the air fryer. Then the same thing happened with my bacon. The air blows so hard that it flings it all over the air fryer while it's cooking. I have to place a wire rack that came with my instant pot on certain foods to keep them from flying. It seems to me a basket sized wire rack should come with this air fryer to hold food in place while it cooks. Another thing. I read in the booklet that came with this air fryer that you shouldn't cook greasy foods in it. That's ridiculous. Who would buy an air fryer that can't cook bacon. The reason given is that it might smoke. So here's a tip. Oils and grease have a smoke point temp. If they are cooked at a temp higher than their smoke point then they will smoke. The smoke point for bacon is 375*, so the solution is to always cook it at a temp lower than that. Different oils have different smoke points, just look them up. If it wasn't for this wind tunnel I would have given this 5 stars. It's easy to clean and a good size. I just wish it didn't fling my food around while cooking. UPDATE: The seller reached out to me and ended up refunding me for the purchase. I increased my rating from 3 stars to 4 stars for the good customer service. The air fryer itself is still only worth 3 stars but customer service means a lot.
