As a retired software engineer with 40+ years of experience, I’m very critical of the products and apps I use at home. I’ve been using the ULTRALOQ 2025 Upgrade Bolt Fingerprint Matter Smart Lock for less than three months but so far it has exceeded all expectations. I currently have three of these locks installed which replaced existing deadbolt locks and overall the experience has been excellent. Our family uses various Apple iPhones connected to our Thread network via Apple 4K TV device. Communication with the locks has been fast, seamless, and error-free. Fingerprint and PIN features work perfectly. I did encounter a few minor installation issues: (1) Strike plate installation: The provided screws for the strike plate were shorter than those from my old locks. I reused the longer screws from the previous strike plate, which fit perfectly and gave me extra confidence in security. For the other locks, I simply kept the old strike plates with the deeper screws, which worked flawlessly. (2) Door sensor instructions: The instructions and diagram for the door sensor were initially unclear. The diagram referred to the magnet as the 'sensor,' which caused some confusion. After understanding that the magnet is part of the door open/close system and the actual sensor electronics are contained within the smart lock itself, installation on the remaining locks was quick and easy. (3) User access management: For households with multiple locks, each user currently needs to perform the fingerprint learning procedure and define a PIN on each individual lock. With five family members and three locks, this takes extra time. It would be convenient if a user's access information (fingerprint and PIN) could be shared across locks as defined by the account admin, with the option to customize access per lock if desired. In this case the user would only have to do the finger print learning process one time. Despite these minor points, the locks are very well designed, reliable, and easy to use. Customer service has been excellent, responsive, and helpful. Overall, the product quality, software, and support are top-notch. I highly recommend the ULTRALOQ 2025 smart lock to anyone seeking a secure, modern, and easy-to-manage smart lock system.

The media could not be loaded. Due to the fact that the instructions were easy to understand, I was able to install the lock without the aid of a professional. I believe that the built-in WiFi capabilities make it very simple to link with the smart home gadgets that I already have, which in turn enables me to manage the lock remotely using my smartphone. The keyless entry function is a game-changer; if my hands are full or I am in a hurry, I will no longer have to fumble around for keys again. With its ability to send messages in real time anytime the door is locked or unlocked, the door sensor is one of the features that stands out to me as particularly noteworthy. With this additional layer of protection, I am able to watch who enters my house from any location, which provides me with a sense of complete peace of mind. Particularly essential in my region is the fact that the lock has a waterproof grade of IP65, which guarantees that it will continue to perform properly and dependably even in the face of intense precipitation or other severe weather conditions. The Near Field Communication technology enables me to get entry in a rapid and secure manner using my smartphone or other NFC-enabled devices, therefore completely removing the need for conventional keys. The lock's sleek form not only compliments the beauty of my door, but it also adds a contemporary touch without being intrusive.

Sometimes a review is written about the quality of a product, sometimes about the company. This review gives five stars to both. My original purchase had an outdated, firmware and some software glitches. The product itsself worked great, but I had trouble with Auto Unlock when I returned home. A call to the company provided immediate support and troubleshooting. Their email system of communicating is excellent and surprisingly offers continuous follow up and problem resolution. With a firmware update, and a reboot of my bridge, the system works great. The product is well-built and secure. What more could you ask for in a wireless lock? I know I have four of them and I'm happy with each. And the remote ability to unlock for other family members or workers is flawless. Beats my previous Yale lock hands down.
