This is probably my number one favorite purchase on Amazon in the whole timeframe that I’ve been a prime member. I bought this rug, even though I really had my heart set on a darker color. It was my first apartment moving out on my own and I wanted to fill it with things that I truly loved. This rug has endured the hardship of two big dogs and four cats, respectively. Decent rug if you don’t want to opt for wool or polyester. Be sure to add a pad made for LVP underneath because if you have luxury vinyl plank floors I would not trust that you could lay this directly on your floor surface without a pad, or any floor surface for that matter. Would have given it a 5 star rating but the creases took a lot of tugging and attempting to flatten out some spots before it laid more nicely. I liked that it was a mixture of jute any polypropylene and the light neutrality of the colors was what I wanted. We have a cat and dog that it also is able to stand up to which is a nice thing. ... show more

I've been a big fan of Safavieh area rugs for quite some time. I had been buying the Arizona shag but with high traffic and pets, it would look pretty worn after a year or so. After reading reviews on this rug, I bought the 8x10 for our living room. I want something that is easy to spot clean. I love the color which is light and very neutral. I do recommend finding the 'light' side vs the 'dark' side and orienting it to your preference. Also, do reverse roll this rug before laying it down. The corners may need some tape until it relaxes. I just had to clean up a hairball from my cat this morning and you cannot tell anything happened. I woud say for a high traffic area with kids and/or pets, this is a great choice. ... show more

Quality is okay. Handful of strings that have needed to be cut. Corners and edges keep curling up creating a trip hazard. No matter what I do they still end up curling up.

Is thin enough to fit under door, but not so thin that it looks insubstancial. Not slippery soft, but comfortable. We love it.
