Decent, but not very sturdy and definitely not big enough for even 8 chickens. The coop is small and run narrow. Coop won’t be suitable for winter months due to quality of the wood. I’ll have to figure out another plan for winter months. This would be a fine coop for an area without snow and maybe 4 to 5 chickens at most. UPDATE: Just today the removable tray completely fell apart and my chickens fell down to the ground. See photos. I’ve tried to fix it myself but nothing has saved this poorly constructed POC! Reported this to the company again. I bought this thinking it would be a perfect first time coop, I was wrong. It was easy to assemble which I did in about 2-1/2 hours. I should have known it wasn’t worth the money I spent when things didn’t line up, pieces were warped, my chicken fell through the nesting box, the brace on the drawer of the coop has come apart. It claims it is for 6-10 chickens. No way. I have 3 and the coop is tight and mine aren’t even full grown yet. I’ve learned my lesson. Don’t waste your money on this coop. ... show more

I have 6 chickens and we love this coop. It's perfect. I did add 2 roosting bars in the coop. It's easy to put together, it's a great value for the money. It's sturdy enough, but I did screw it into pavers that I put along the edges. Plenty of doors, 2 windows in the coop, and 2 doors in the run. Easy to assemble. Smells like old man cologne. I can’t air out my garage enough while assembling. Wood seems cheap/cracked in some places, and as others have reported the boxes were damaged upon arrival. We are looking at it as a “starter coop” and learned a valuable lesson.

So this is my third attempt at getting a coop and run, Amazon came through after 2 failed attempts. The coop is great for my 3 hens. For the price it’s a great product. Just wish the wiring was more secure. We had to add extra wire to keep predators out of the run. The coop itself is very secure. Built poorly. Definitely not predator proof. Lost 10 chickens in an instant when a dog pushed through the screen. Staples that's all that holds the screens in........
