I purchased this to reduce the amount of thing’s floating around the pool. As soon as I opened it and pulled it out of the box, the top popped off and it fell to the ground and cracked. My fault, but it didn’t fall far and fell on the grass. I superglued it back together and it worked fine. I previously rated this product 4 stars but now I revise my rating to 1 star after discovering the product is defective. I purchased the U.S. Pool Supply Pool Chlorine Floater Dispenser with Thermometer two months ago and the thermometer has never been accurate, either in or out of the pool. It currently displays a temperature that is 13 degrees below the actual temperature; the inaccuracy is variable, not consistent. This is very disappointing since the thermometer is the reason for this purchase and now it is essentially useless to us. I highly recommend looking for a different brand. Better yet, make sure you're buying directly from Amazon so you can easily return a defective product for a full refund. ... show more
