The scoop is well made. The screening Is very fine mesh. The frame around the screen is heavy plastic. The scoop is sold with a short pole. Perfect for use while in the pool. The handle on the scoop allows the scoop to be attached to your longer pool poles. Very fine quality for a low price.

This so-called hand held pool rake is more like a mosquito swatter. The rake mesh has no center pocket to keep bugs and leaves "in" it.
