Even though the pole is split into short pieces, they go together easily and once assembled it seems to be sufficiently rigid. We haven't used it yet but I think it will be perfect for removing leaves fro our small pond. This was just what we needed to get all the debris out of our pop up intex pool. I love that you can customize the length of the pole, we dont need the full length for our 12' pool. The head is a little flimsy but again, for our use it's perfect, and I was able to get a good whirlpool going with it to get all the bottom debris to t he middle. Then a simple scoop with this skimmer and the pool was all clean

This is very cheaply made. The pool net is very flimsy and bends every time it touches the water. I did give it 3 stars because the pole is very long and I do not have to be inside the pool to clean it. It does get the job done but it’s just not very sturdy.
