I use these stands as satellite speaker stands to provide approximately 4ft of height in my listening spaces! They’re well made and good looking - my use is not for portability, it’s focused on beauty and sturdiness! I assemble them using blue loctite to ensure vibration free performance. I drill out the top adapter and route my speaker wires directly up from under the stand base to the top of the stand within the tube for an invisible look and tamper proof delivery. Then I connect the wires directly to the speaker terminals to allow me to move and face the speakers appropriately for the best audio performance possible! I love these stands… they’re very stable, they look clean & beautiful, and function perfectly at a great price per pair!!

Mic holder not flexible. You wouldn't think that something with 4 main parts would be ver difficult to assemble, but there's no instructions and one of the segments was "hiding" inside another. But there's only one way it will go together, so I got the puzzle solved. Only real knock is that the mic holder has almost no give, so it won't stretch enough to accomodate most wireless mics. They are a bit bigger in diameter at the base because of their batteries and transmitters. So you'll have to get another holder for your wireless mics.
