- A professional, powerful, and quiet automatic suction pool vacuum cleaner that quickly cleans your entire pool without missing spots. It is an efficient, durable, and quiet vacuum cleaning system with a long-life diaphragm membrane. The diaphragm eliminates the annoying flapper hammer noise that other flapper vacuum cleaners have. Replacement diaphragm included.
- The innovative vacuum design has incredible suction power, so it can quickly and easily clean your entire pool. It thoroughly cleans and removes all pool debris as it moves across floors, climbs up walls, and around steps without getting stuck. The unique deflector wheel helps prevent it from getting caught on steps, ladders, and corners!
- This professional cleaner is ideal for use in in-ground pools and some above-ground and self-supporting swimming pools (excluding soft-wall and vinyl-lined pools). It only requires a 1/2 HP pump or a minimum flow of 1,000 gal/hour (3.8 m3/hour) to operate. It's easy to install, as no tools are required.
- Includes 33 feet of premium spiral wound vacuum hose (20 - 20" hose sections). The hose sections allow you to customize the hose length to the requirements of your pool. The hoses are designed with a snug, secure fit to prevent leaks, and the hose sections can be connected much easier to each other if the ends are dipped in water first. Hoses become more flexible after use.
- U.S. Pool Supply provides professional, high-quality, affordable pool cleaning, maintenance supplies, and accessories. We offer all the essential items needed to help residential pool owners care for and maintain their pools so that they can eliminate the need for expensive scheduled pool service technicians.

Works great! Even after a year.
Style: Deluxe Octopus Cleaner
This is really impressive. I live in a very dusty area with windstorms and lots of debris blowing into the pool probably a couple of times a week. Over the last year I had been skimming the pool 3 times a day, brushing (algae) every day and doing a full vacuum about every week (lots of labor). This takes care of the vacuuming and the brushing! Easy to assemble (10 minutes). The hoses seem really well made, maybe a siliconized plastic, but definitely not rigid as others commented. Using on a 1.5 HP motor with DE filter. Of course I used it full suction at first (adjustable at the intake) and it had been working a regular pattern over and over. I tried removing some hose, adding the included weight which did not help. It would also walk right up the side of the pool and start sucking air at the surface. Turn the suction WAY down and it will work nearly an entire pool in a couple of hours. Also happy to say it is picking up nearly all the leaves (about 2 inches) and leaving a clean pool, even the sides. No more algae brushing either. UPDATE. Still working great after a year. Hose pieces starting to crack so will be getting a replacement hose.

You get what you pay for ******UPDATE***** Buy Beware!
Style: Deluxe Octopus Cleaner
Previous Zodiac Barracuda G3 owner. Bought this brand to save a few bucks. Heres the most notable differences I found upon install: 1) Hoses are much more rigid & feel more plastic to the touch. Hoses need to be very flexible these are not. May become more flexible in time. We'll have to wait & see. 2) I have a vac line on sidewall of my inground pool. Vac line is a 1.5 inch Hayward female. This cleaner comes with a few rubberized fittings & even a flow adjuster but it just falls out of my threaded vac line. Ive worked on this connection for the past 3 hours to no avail. I am now going to my local pool store to see if they have a male to male connection. THIS COULDVE BEEN SOLVED BY MANUFACTURER BY JUST INCLUDING 1x MALE TO MALE HOSE. 3) Suction seems fine for the 30 secs i held hose into wall. 4) Compared to a Barracuda its cheap quality but im selling my house anyway so idc. 5) I predict 1 or 2 years of usage before needing replacement. *******UPDATE******** I WAS RIGHT! NEEDS REPLACED. HEAD SHEARED OFF. NO FIXING IT. PLASTIC WAAAAY TO BRITTLE. WILL BUY BARACUDA AGAIN. HORRIBLE PRODUCT. BUYER BEWARE******Pics attached*******

Made pool life so much easier
Style: Deluxe Octopus Cleaner
I have a bad shoulder so with my pool I could either scrub it or vacuum it. This works like magic. Took me a few tries to get it to move the right way so it didn't take forever. This is amazing

Good cleaning head
Style: Deluxe Octopus Cleaner
Perfect for a lazy maintenance day. Cleans a wide path but is dependent on the current so it doesn’t clean 100% of the floor surface. It does vibrate so if you have any cracks or loose fittings on the skimmer they will leak a tad. Don’t waste your money on the hose though. The links pull apart and come loose from the end fitting.

Inconsistent cleaning
Style: Deluxe Octopus Cleaner
So the suction and efficiency of this is great. It really cleans quickly. However my issue is I have an above ground pool, and it seems to only want to clean half the pool and specifically stays closer to the edges for some reason. Just had a major dust storm and there was almost a perfect line of clean/ dirty water. I’m not sure I want to keep this.

Lord of the Octopus
Style: Deluxe Octopus Cleaner
I’ve had several of these type vacuums but none that worked like, “ lord of the octopus,”😆 This by far has been the best. The first day I got it, though I was not sold. It wasn’t working, efficiently not fast at all and I almost gave up. I slept on it and got up the next morning and decided I’m gonna go back out again. I am so glad that I did that because I did not have my pool set correctly for this, “ Lord of the octopus.” it was totally my fault. It wasn’t working and not the equipment itself.. As soon as I set my skimmer correctly and had the pressure in my pool, this thing has taken off and it can swim and suck the bottom off the pool in about less than 30 seconds and I have a 32 foot pool. And it’s very deep. this thing has no problem climbing the walls. I made sure I showed you a picture of that and a video. I don’t normally give reviews, but this thing has been exceptional. And all the extra parts it comes with. I was just at the pool store and I could not believe for just one of those pieces was like $24 or $34 somewhere a little higher. It is unreal what they are charging at the pool store just for the parts. Now my pool is 32 foot long so I did have to add two extra pieces of hose so it would climb the wall efficiently. I will go back and hopefully be able to get two of the same color from the company. Wasn’t sure if I was gonna like this color I’ve had white gray and a dark blue before, But this aqua color is by far the best. It is so beautiful in the pool. I hope this helps somebody, this thing has damn Sure made my life easier. 👊💖

THE perfect addition to our family!!
Style: Deluxe Octopus Cleaner
We named her Sara and I just have to say we all LOVE her!! As soon as she came, my 18 year old grand-daughter put her together while I ran to the grocery store. When I got home, Sara jumped in the pool and went right to work. She likes to play in the deep end AND the shallow end, and even likes climbing the walls!!! She went all night without stopping and never got lost or stuck in the corner. I have a 30,000 gal pool, and she had the whole thing SPOTLESS by morning!! She's almost silent, but there's enough aggitation on the surface that the pool didn't need skimmed either. I have 4 teenagers living in my house, and I have to say that Sara did a better job than any of them, so I love her, and they love that they don't have to sweep the walls of the pool or skim the top any longer. . . Best buy ever!!!

Faulty mechanism restricts cleaning ability
Style: Deluxe Octopus Cleaner
When I first got this I liked that is was quieter than my old one. Have had problems adjusting it so it doesn’t keep coming up too far and out of the water which makes it suck in air and in turn makes the pump have to reprime often. I’ve learned to live with that. After having this 4 weeks, the biggest issue I now have is that it continues to end up on its side instead of flat on pool surface so it’s doing no good. This is happening because the part that attaches the hoses to the head is supposed to freely rotate to let the head turn to meet the bottom but it is more and more getting stuck and not letting the head rotate so it just slowly move along laying on its side, hens doing nothing useful. Needless to say this takes the automatic out of it since I have to constantly watch for it doing this.. I am now looking to get something else.
