Good product overall. This is our second purchase. Much easier and cheaper than the inline replacement. The first lasted just over a year before the cap became brittle. I would agree with others that the cap may be difficult to remove Just don’t screw on tightly. We use 2 chlorine tabs every 4 days or so in our 4 person hot tub and tied to the edge of the tub so it doesn’t float around and harass us ... show more

Perfect for a small or large hot tub or even pool. I love how I can adjust the number of chlorine tablets in it. If I only need 1 tablet I can adjust the settings on it and if I need more I can loosen it to fit more tablets.

This works well and I think is better suited for small tablets. This barely works for 1” tablets for above ground 9x 18 inter pool. It works, the chlorine tab has to be broken into smaller pieces.

Broke after only a couple months. As many others have said, the part that holds the weight isn't watertight and it rusts quickly. Ours began to rust after a few months. We continued to use it, but now the rust expanded to the point that it pushed the bottom off and the weight fell out. We'll be looking for a different brand for a replacement. ... show more

I am on #3 of these. They are practical but the weight base cap is utter crap and will crack and discolor. Would be better if they made one out of silicone or some other material that is more durable/flexible. In this case you do not quite get what you pay for, so be prepared to buy many of these.
