My last chlorine dispenser lasted less than a year. The plastic turned brittle and little chunks broke off and fell into the hot tub. This one has held up much better so far. Aside from some slight discoloration, it is functioning as good as new. It has an easy to use clip system for connecting/disconnecting the chlorine cylinder from the ballast. Only issue I’ve found is the bottom doesn’t like to screw on easily. But I love that the cap you unscrew is weighted and keeps the bottom down in the water.
