Should have measured the length I needed. 40 feet is too long and inhibits pool sweep from covering the whole pool because the hose wants to curl up and not extend. I actually need only 32 feet of hose. This is my bad and I will have to remove the 40 foot hose and order 8 each of the 4 foot lengths. Otherwise the hose works. ... show more

Most hoses I can find local are 35', and that can give me a hard time reaching all of the pool. Seems very high quality, nice sturdy ends.

A little expensive but I think it’s how much it runs for. The hose diameter is lil tight putting onto the vacuum but I guess it’s a good thing cos it stays snug.

This is the third hose I have bought for my 36 X 20 pool in over 35 years. The first hose looked a lot like this one and it lasted maybe 7 years. The second was a commercial hose that I bought from a local dealer and it lasted almost 30 years. So when the UV finally destroyed it, I looked for another commercial grade and bought this, "Professional Grade", hose. On first inspection it looks alot like first hose, it is too dark in color and really not that thick. I will definitely have to keep it out of the sun. It does it's function, but I really don't very long. I guess you truly get what you pay for. ... show more
