These running boards are very easy to install you can do it by yourself but I do suggest to maybe have a friend or a small jack stand I suggest you put a rag over the jack stand so you do not stuff up the running board only tools that were required for me to put this together was a screwdriver to take the factory plugs out on my 2023 Toyota Tacoma and a 3/8 ratchet with an extension with 13 mm socket I was able to install these by myself with help from a jack stand Amazon delivered them to my house with two guys and they set them down right beside my truck just where I wanted them it took me about 30 minutes for installation and out of all the running boards in the market unless you want to pay over $1,000 these are well worth the quality and rugged look there are also great for car doors not damaging the side of your truck they will hit the bar before they hit your door also you can walk all the way across them so it makes it easy for washing the truck roof I've looked all through the market and even had the factory ones these beat it overall and especially for the price they are coated with bed liner coating which is tough and rugged they do not scratch up easy at all I had them four years on my other truck I sold my truck with them and purchased a brand new ones for my new truck I suggest if you like the overall Terrain look on your vehicle these are the ones to buy

I'm impressed with the build and finish of this product. They look great on my truck and seem to be very well made. Here are a couple things to help your decision making easier: 1. If you're buying this to help with access to the truck because you're short, they really don't sit much lower than the door sills. If anything, they'd be helpful to stand on if you are trying to access cargo on the roof. They don't sit low like running boards typically would. 2. Since these sit higher than typical running boards, they do not compromise overall ground clearance. The frame of the truck actually sits slightly lower than these bars. 3. Installation was very easy. Toyota already has all the mounting holes prepped on the truck so all you have to do is remove the plugs and use a 13mm ratchet to install. Everything lined up perfectly and I was able to install each one in less than 15 minutes by myself. All hardware was included. Note** The first time I ordered these, they came damaged. The packing protection was not done well and they rubbed on each other during shipping, removing some of the finish. I contacted the company who stated I needed to return them through Amazon since they were sold by Amazon. I processed an exachange order and Amazon shipped me a new pair shortly thereafter. I shipped them back my originals with their prepaid label and everything is fine now. The only pain in the process was repackaging the old ones for shipping and dropping them off at UPS.

Amazing Product!! Fit my 2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport like a "Glove". These Step Bars come very well wrapped to avoid damage. The Steps come with all screws and washer required to complete the install. Can be installed in less than 30 min. however recommend having someone assist with the installation as these bars are Heavy Duty and weigh about 30-40 lbs. each. I can't say enough about how well built these steps are and how great they look on my truck. Note: These step bars will also keep other vehicle "Doors" away from your own Vehicle. The steps extend a few inches outward therefore anyone carelessly opening their vehicle door will likely come in contact with the step bars, preventing damage to your door.. These step bars are a great buy. If you try to purchase a similar step bar at the dealer, you are likely to pay upwards of $400.00 Plus for a set. I highly recommend these if you are a 2019 Toyota Tacoma owner.

I will start with the negative. it took a little longer than I thought it would and while putting them on I got two thorns in my back. That's it these are great!!! When the package got to my house I could see why it was two days late. This box was huge! I don't see how I got free shipping and I could envision every person who had to deal with this package cursing me for ordering it. The box was banged up pretty good and it had a couple of holes in it but when I opened the box I was not worried about damage. The bars were protected almost overkill. They had foam braces at the ends and were wrapped in some heavy duty bubble wrap and then thin foam sheets. The parts that could punch through like the mounting plates were covered with 1/4inch rubber tubing cut down the sides. It took about ten minutes just to get them out. I left them on the patio for the night and took in the instructions and the box of hardware for study. Everything was there and the instructions were good but not needed as these are very simple to put on. Each bar has three mounting points with two holes in each for the bolts. They line up with the factory holes on the floorpan of the truck. I would assume they are there for factory running boards to be installed at time of manufacture. My truck had plastic plugs in the holes that just have to be screwed out, real easy. I don't have friends that is until they need something so I was doing it on my own. Hahahahaha I didn't want to use jack stands or jacks either. I placed the bar on the ground where I wanted it and then got underneath the bar at one end. I pushed the bar up and put a bolt loosely in. I slid down to the other side with the bar on my chest (this is when I got the thorns hahahaha) I put another bolt in then the middle then put the final three in and tightened them up. I repeated the other side (minus the thorns). This took less time than getting out the tools and turning on the radio to the classic rock station. So I changed the oil and filter as well! The bars are mounted well and secure to the truck I am 6 foot and weigh 240 and I can get on them and jump up and down and they are very secure so I am happy there. My truck has a 3 inch lift and taller tires on it. as I am taller it don't matter but my wife is 5 foot three and a half( when we met she said the half is important that's why I add it)!!!! She loves them they help her get into the truck a lot easier so another score. My 21 year old son who is critical of everything loves them, he even brought over another young friend who loved them as well so another score. Actually no one has said anything bad about them. I even had a friend at work who told me he thought my truck was the toughest one in the parking lot and that by adding them I set the bar even higher!!! In conclusion sorry so long I love these and very happy with them. They came to me flawless and were easy to put in without any fitting issues. Should you be on the fence I say get them, you wont regret it! Should something unthinkable happen to my truck I would get another Tacoma and would buy these again for it. My truck by the way is a 2008 Tacoma four wheel drive, her name is Snow.
