This ring is perfect for what I needed! I purchased it specifically to test out whether I wanted to switch to a gold ring instead of my usual platinum or white gold, and it has been incredibly helpful for that. From far away, it is absolutely beautiful and looks totally real. However, once you get close up, it does look extremely fake and has a bit of a plastic-like appearance. That being said, it completely does the job I bought it for. It also helped me confirm my ring size very accurately, which is a huge plus. It is gorgeous and looks pretty real at least to me. This is the silver, I got the gold one as well and all my jewelry is white gold but I think I like the gold more. The gold isn’t a fake yellow/orange gold either. It’s beautiful. It’s also true to size (5) like all my other rings.

This is an absolutely beautiful ring. I knew going in that it was a costume piece of jewelry but it has ample sparkle and looks great on my finger. If you're looking for a realistic fake ring, this probably isn't it. It's quite large and the normal human doesn't have the financial means to buy a real stone this big. I ordered my usual size and it fits true to size. This ring is really pretty in person. The center stone has a lot of sparkle, and the smaller stones along the band add even more shine without looking overdone. I like the elongated oval shape because it makes the ring look elegant, and the 8-prong setting feels secure. The finish is nice and shiny, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well it catches the light. It's comfortable enough to wear throughout the day and doesn't feel bulky on my finger. If you're looking for a travel ring, a backup wedding set, or just a pretty ring to wear every day, I think this is a great option. The only thing I'd recommend is ordering your normal size, as mine fit exactly as expected. For the price, just under $30 at the time I ordered, it's decent. It does not at all look real. It has a very clear appearance, with almost a bluish hue, like classic CZ. I ordered this for traveling. I have a side by side of a real oval diamond (2.5 ct) and this ring, which is supposed to be 4.5 ct. I personally don't think it looks 4.5 ct. I have images of the tops and sides, so you can see the depth (the real one is on the left with the stone sitting higher). I will work for my needs but it's not going to fool anyone, which is probably what I need while traveling. ... show more
