Substantial Adjustable Base, But I Have Some Concerns This is a substantial, heavy adjustable bed base with a lot of nice features. First, the weight deserves some attention. I'm 6'1", 200 lbs and this was about at my limit for moving by myself. I could not have gotten it up a flight of stairs alone though I got it up and down a single stair. The listing states 97 lbs, but it certainly feels heavier than that, especially because once it's out of the box there really isn't a good place to grab it. It also arrives about as broken down as it's going to get, so plan on having help. The fabric had a noticeable smell when it arrived, but that aired out within about a day. There was also a second, fainter smell that reminded me of curing paint or possibly oil from the motors. That was still present after about 48 hours outside, although I only had the frame partially opened with some of the bubble wrap still in place. Assembly itself was surprisingly easy considering this is a powered moving bed frame. I found it easier to assemble while it was on its side rather than upside down as shown in the video. For the extendable supports, I also found it easier to adjust those after the frame was upright by laying beside the bed and reaching underneath the foldable edge. I temporarily used a 6-inch foam mattress while waiting for my new 12-inch mattress. The adjustments work well, but with the thinner mattress I can feel the horizontal steel structure through it, particularly across the middle where my hips land when sleeping on my side. I'm hoping the thicker mattress eliminates that. I also noticed the folding edges aren't fully supported and have some flex when I sit on the edge of the bed. Overall, the powered functions and setup have been good, but those structural details keep me from rating it higher right now. I expect the remaining smell to fade, and if I can still feel the horizontal supports through the new 12-inch mattress, I'll update my review. ... show more

We bought this, the set up was SUPER easy but after putting it together it broke immediately. The motor is LOUD. Not quite like all these reviews state. The head of the bed does not go up, only the feet. We had our bed on it for an hour and already started a return. We will not be buying another one from this company. I guess you get what you pay for.. even thought I felt this was still a good penny spent! Off to spend more on a quality electric bed frame that will actually work well with our king bed! ... show more

This is a pretty decent frame and good value for the money for sure. It's easy enough to put tufts as long as you focus on the instructions and look closely at which bolts and such. It did take a while though as there are plenty of pieces. Once it's together correctly it has good stability. It fits and holds my queen mattress in place firmly without causing it to bunch at all. The noise level is pretty low, you can invisible trek the motor is running bit is quiet enough that I dint believe it should wake a partner easily besides the bed itself moving. It adds a good comfort level being able to adjust my feet height for my bad hips and raise the head for girlfriend snoring. ... show more

This bedframe was very easy to assemble and get running. Including unboxing, it took me about 20 minutes to get everything set up. It is a very sturdy bedframe which is reassuring given an elderly person will be using it. The remote control makes adjusting the head and feet portions of the bed to what's most comfortable or required a snap. The motor does make a humming sound when in operation but the bedframe itself is quiet. It is heavy though. The full size that I'm using was over 120 pounds and that could present as a problem for someone who is older or weaker so plan appropriately when ordering. ... show more

I want to make a point that at the beginning it stopped working and I had to reset it. It also doesn’t feel as sturdy as I would have liked. However the price is half of most of the others like it, so for the price it is actually very good quality.
