So far, so good. Easy to install and I’m pleased with its heating. It has raised my 5,000 gallon pool temp by several degrees in the first week being connected. I only have it cycle with the pump 12 hours/day. We took our first swim of the season in Texas in mid-April which was the goal. I can tell a significant difference in the water temperature coming out of the return jet. Very quiet operation as well and I am using the same circuit as my pump.

We have a 20' round, above ground pool. The past few winters have been extremely cold and we were unable to comfortably use the pool until Late June to early July, due to cold water temperatures. We purchase the TURBRO B33V swimming pool heat pump. It only took 4 days to bring the water temperature up from 64 degrees F to 82 degrees F. Even with the temperatures at night still getting down to the mid 50s, this heater maintains the 82 degrees. This is an awesome product as now we can hop into the pool before the end of April and be comfortable with the water temperature.

First heat pump was faulty. A replacement was quickly delivered and has been running for almost 24 hours with no issues. Very easy to operate. Customer service folks were very prompt and helpful. Would not hesitate to recommend Turbro.

I highly recommend TURBRO! I had an electric pool heater before this heat pump. Let's say it's a night and day difference. This pool heat pump heated my pool from 40°F to 85°F in 4 days, with outside temperatures being 50°F to 60°F. I got the 50,000 BTU on a 10,000-gallon pool. Best money spent. If I were to ever upgrade, I would definitely use a Turbro. Installing was super easy, nothing complex about it, pretty straightforward. The app is pretty cool to control it or check on the pool temp while not home. I see you can wire a pump to it, but not sure about that part yet, as instructions don't say much about that pump hookup. Or, well, I jumped over that part. 😂

Got it set up in a few hours. Hardest part was due to my pool plumbing, not the unit. First impression is it is shockingly quiet... Some things to know: 1. Skip the app they tell you to get. This is a Tuya controller. Download the Tuya app. Win for Home Assistant! You can find my device profile addition to tuya-local on github discussion (still ironing it out). 2. Heat is pretty slow. I've never had a pool heater, but the water was coming out only a few degrees above what it came in at. The sun did more today than the heater did. 3. Measured at around 3.5kW power draw 4. Lots of sensors and diagnostics 5. The major fault code thrown is for no flow. So it has a flow sensor, which is what I'd consider bare minimum, but it doesn't actually report flow data, which is kinda lame. The bigger issue is there seems to be some electronics to actually tie in a pump for greater automation and seamless integration, but there is zero documentation on it (or I missed it), so I'm reluctant to mess with it. (if it's a relay, what's it rated at?) Overall, it seems like a great addition to my property, and a decent way to suck up the surplus solar I have around midday.

It heats but leaks everywhere from condensation even with the drain line attached (Had to buy hose separately). Since I bought this on sale during the winter I was not able to get it hooked up during the 30 days return window or I would’ve just returned it. The only solution was to silicone all of the bolt holes on the bottom drip pan to create my own seal, something that could’ve easily been done at the factory. Kinda silly to have a dedicated drain port when it leaks from multiple points on the bottom pan straight outta the box. It works but not without leaving huge puddles and modifications to remedy it.
