The TRIXIE Enclosed Outdoor Run offers plenty of room for your pets to enjoy exercise, play, or lounge in the sun in a safe environment. It prevents small pets from getting loose and protects them from unwanted visitors. Made from durable, heavy-duty galvanized metal to ensure years of use with little to no maintenance. The playpen is light enough to be easily relocated when desired. Multiple entry points provide convenient access to the inside of the enclosure for feeding and care. Use alone or as an add-on to the TRIXIE Small Animal Homes (Models 62390 and 62391). Suitable for small pets, i.e., kittens, puppies, rabbits, guinea pigs, chicks, etc.

We love our Trixie Rabbit Cage. We reinforced with quality zip ties /cable ties, wrapped in chicken wire and it is sturdy enough to be moved every couple of days for months. We put tin on the top to protect from summer sun and rain. We have used for injured chickens as well and it is perfect for our needs. Weatherproof and durable as long as no one sits on the top of the crate. One issue is the design of one of the top openings is poor. It is flimsy there so we zip tied it shut and primarily use the side entrance and occasionally the other top entrance. We DO like all the possibilities of the openings. We lift children in and out so they do not rest or step on the crate. It was simple to put together and a great purchase for the cost. Recommend 10/10 if you reinforce it. That might take an hour or two of your time but worth it as you are set up for years. ... show more

5/5 stars This TRIXIE Enclosed Outdoor Run is perfect for our rabbit! It's spacious and sturdy, and the multiple doors and openings make it easy to clean, feed, and reach our pet. We did have to make one adjustment, though. Our rabbit is a digger, so we put down some rocks around the cage to deter him from digging underneath. But other than that, this enclosure is perfect. Our rabbit loves being able to go outside and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine, and we feel good knowing that he's safe and secure in his enclosure. Here are some of the pros and cons of this product: Pros: Spacious and sturdy Multiple doors and openings make it easy to clean, feed, and reach your pet Portable, so you can move it around your yard or take it with you on vacation Weatherproof, so it can be used outdoors all year long Cons: Some rabbits may be able to dig underneath the enclosure, so you may need to take steps to prevent this The enclosure can be a bit difficult to assemble, but the instructions are clear and easy to follow Overall, we highly recommend this enclosure for any rabbit owner. Purchased for my quails to enjoy the yard in a safe and secured manner outside of their coop. I add a couple of tree branches since they love to have a hiding area and I do add a tarp on one end for shade and rain (took off for photos). They love it and is just the perfect size and sturdy enough for them to roam and forage. The instructions were terrible, the pieces should have come numbered or with colored coded bands...it looks simple enough but it I found it frustrating to put together...that was my finding, yours can be different. While putting it together several metal bars lifted off of the frame which I found to be be very disappointing. All in all though I am very pleased for the purpose it is serving. ... show more

I actually bought this rabbit cage to use for my baby chicks, and it worked perfectly! It’s roomy, sturdy, and super easy to clean. The setup was simple, and the doors make it easy to feed and check on them. It has great airflow while still keeping the chicks safe and warm. Just a heads-up—you’ll want to keep an eye on it at first because the little ones can squeeze out through the gaps, but I fixed that easily. This is an amazing run for rabbits. It is heavy and sturdy. It comes on a big box. At the beginning I tried to assemble without instructions. They are very difficult to understand, somehow I was able to assemble it and put my 2 rabbits in it and they loved it. Rabbits can dig so would not use this pen to make a fixed pen unless you add something on the bottom. I love it had multiple doors to access and pick up the rabbits or the water. 5 stars definitely ... show more

Once I got it together it’s great! It will definitely fulfill its purpose. Getting it put together was a mess! The pieces can fit together so many different ways but there’s only one correct way and figuring that out wasn’t easy. The instructions weren’t very clear. And it’s definitely a two person job. Good sized, and what we needed for an agressive rooster that couldn't be around the other rooster. He was previously in a dog crate, but we wanted him to have more space, and this suits him just fine. Now that he and his ladies have their own yard, he uses this as his roosting home, and the girls as their laying home. It's tall enough for them to jump up on the sticks we slipped through for roosting. It was easy to put together, though I needed a kiddo to help me hold things in place. Lots of openings, big top hatch to let out the doves that go in for the chicken food and are too silly to find their way out. We've hung the critter water bottles on it, so they have easy access to water. We're happy with it, as it filled our needs. ... show more
