I'm keeping this tarp because it is lightweight and the right size, was a good price and will work for my purpose. But if you are looking specifically for a dark blue tarp, this isn't it. The color of this tarp is more like a medium shade of purple.

I used this to cover a spot in my backyard that gets UV exposure all day. I put it up in late April expecting to have to replace it by maybe the end of June. IT IS STILL UP. That's right, this has been out in the sun since April (now Nov) and it's still up, in one piece, and waterproof. All I did was spray it with Aerosoace 303 when I put it up. At this point the fabric is delicate and it's lifespan is up for any practical purpose. But I am *astounded* by how well this tarp has done. It survived not only the spring, but the full onslaught of the summer sun (Michigan), and well into the fall - 24/7. I bought two at the time having been prepared to need to replace one, so I'm delighted to already have another one for camping. I can't see myself dropping for a Hilleberg or the like when I have seen what this one can do for a small fraction of the price. Blew a Kelty Noah's Tarp out of the water. ... show more

Size: Product description states: 118in x 86in. Measures 113in x 86 in. For our purpose of a tent footprint the 5in difference in length was okay. However this may matter to some. Weight: Product description states: 1.06 lbs. Weighs in at 1.09 lbs. This half an ounce difference does not matter to me personally. Waterproof: Yes. It rained two nights that we were camping. One night we forgot to roll in the excess that stuck out past the vestibule of our tent and in the morning the tarp was holding puddles of water in those spots. So I would definitely say yes to being waterproof. Durability: This is the area where I decided to reduce to 4 stars. The middle seam tape does not appear to adhere well near the eyelets and I do not expect the waterproof function of this tent to last forever as the tape will gradually peel back. This is the trade off to get a light weight tarp vs a heavy duty tarp. Overall: For a medium priced tarp it lives up to expectations. We only used a couple stakes since we used it as a footprint and did not need it to resist wind. Heavier duty stakes may be needed if expecting to use it more as a shelter. Did not use ropes. Packaging is nice. It is easy to fit the tarp in the original packaging. Just follow the creases as a guide when refolding. Overall, pleased with this tarp and would purchase again. ... show more

I'm writing this review because I found this camping cover/mat to be of excellent quality! It is well made with strong grommets, lightweight fabric and deep color that seems like it will not fade. I am also writing due to the excellent customer service I experienced with this seller, Triwonder. I ordered this camping shelter cover as part of a birthday gift to myself and was so excited to try it. I opened it up as soon as it arrived and hung it over my deck railing to air off that "new" smell. Sadly a big wind gust blew the cover and the hand weight holding it in place over the railing, landing on concrete 12ft down. The cover survived well, a testament to it's durability, except for where the weight landed on top of the cover creating 4 nickel sized punctures. I was so sad that I broke my present before I even got to use it! I wrote a note to the seller to see if there was some kind of patch or suggestion to fix the holes. Their response was to credit me for my purchase so I could order a new one as replacement..... I was so surprised and very thankful for their kindness!!!!!!! To me this is going above and beyond and I truly appreciate it!!!!! I wanted to share because it is important to support people doing good in the world and Triwonder does just that, Plus the quality of product is excellent!!!! I recommend this product and even bought one for a friend too!!! ... show more

I love this. I use it as a foot print. It works very well. The ground was very wet when camping a few weeks ago but my tent stayed completely dry. It’s worth it!
