The unit is big- measure and be sure you realize the spigot is lower than bottom. Doesn’t fit under cabinets. The filters last a long time, but are expensive. I’m picky about sink water and we were spending a lot on bottles- this is better and earth friendly. Easy to set up and maintain

We recently put in our sandpoint well and we did our due diligence and had the water tested. We're a little high in iron and bborderline for a few other things and we'd heard good things about the Berkey so we bought this one! We live off grid so the gravity feed option was perfect for us. We've been using it daily for about a month now and we've had ZERO issues with it! The quality is really good! The flow rate works great for us. We use our Berkey water for drinking (hubby and I plus our K9 kids) and for food preparation. No complaints!! We highly recommend it😎

We've used this system for six months now on a daily basis. All we've ran through it has been Bottled Water from the grocery store which is already filtered. The minerals in the bottled water were enough to slow the filtration process so much that I'm now having to replace the two elements inside. They do not last as long as the manufacturer claims. Our Brita system works much better and the water tastes way better! Deeply regret buying this unit as it is large and was expensive for what it does! I am Very disappointed with it's performance and it does not live up to their claims! The stainless steel build is nice though and it is easy to use, it just takes longer and longer for the water to pass through the elements to where now it just drips slowly taking hours for one gallon to make it through!

Love, love, love. Definitely a learning curve setting up but had immediate text help when I needed it. So easy now. Clear, clean, great tasting water. Bought because in a power outage we'll always have water. Filters last 4 yrs. That's better than the refrigerators. Wouldn't want bigger than 1.5 gallon size as it would be hard for me to lift it up to insert in the top. Just the right size. Just got black filter that came with the system. Recommend a stand. Got the Berkey stand as it is fused at the joints so less chance of spilling. Also highly recommend the glass tube with the ball indicating water level and it comes with a stainless steel spout instead of the plastic spout. Less chance for leaks. Recommend.

We are Berkey life-timers. We had originally purchased a Big Berkey and used it for five years. We realized we needed a larger one that we didn't have to fill up as much. You can not talk to anyone & left a message and I emailed I still have not got a response. One of the black filters was cracked. I’m not sure it came from Berky. I reached out to talk to someone only to leave a message they do not answer the phone. All I needed were the filters replaced according to the logo on the box they are not true Berkey filters.
