This updated can is so much better than the can that was built before it!! You don’t have to wait for it to close all the way to be able to wave your hand and re open! Hurt wave half way through it closing and it will re open back up. It opens faster and is quieter and it is more sensitive so a one finger wave will open this trash can up and open up faster than the old can! All around better than the previous version of. This can! Also the price is not stuck in the inflation and costs about the same as the older model I bought 5 years ago!’I plan to order the medium one for the bathroom sink and the smallest one for the toilet area Because they also now have 3 sizes and they seem worth it and buying all three at once is recommended as it will save money on over all price now that I have told you it’s much better than the old version of this trash can! You can find these everywhere else for $100-300, which is crazy when this option is available. Trash can has lasted me two years and haven’t had to change the battery. No smells sneak through and the detection never fails.

It works in 2 different moods… perfectly great then slow and cranky… thought maybe batteries nope thought maybe i didn’t read directions correctly that wasn’t the case so I don’t know but if you can find another one similar or equivalent buy that one
