Whether you are staking down something in your yard for bad weather or If you are an avid camper and camp in less than ideal conditions, these are the perfect stakes to do keep everything tied down and secure. Thin little metal spikes are easy to drive in but easily pull out of the ground in wet conditions with wind and can be frustrating. These are a bit more bulky and take a bit more effort to screw them into the ground, especially if the ground is hard but they are worth the effort. The stakes come with a tool supplied to easily screw them into the ground so you are not doing it exactly "by hand". If you prefer you can attach them to the end of a power drill and do it that way. Once you are done installing them you just hand screw the top metal loop back on and you are ready to go. The top loop is large enough you can tie just about anything onto it but they also include a canvas loop allowing you to attach more than one ratchet, bungee strap or rope. They really do bite into the ground well, they aren't going anywhere even if the dirt gets soggy. Overall, this is a really great set of heavyweight anchors that is easy to use and will last you for years!

These are GREAT stakes to use either for a canopy (what I’m using them for) or even for a tent while camping. Very heavy duty that allows you to screw them into the ground much farther and securely than those cheap little things you hammer in. Comes with some small straps with grommets to use if needed also a piece to use in your drill so you can use a power tool to help you drill them into the ground. Or it also comes with a manual tool you can twist into the ground yourself. Will definitely give me greater peace of mind for my outdoor canopy so it doesn’t blow away like others have in the past!

I ordered these so that I could tie my dog out in various positions in the yard and because I thought that the design would make them easier to install. The design is 2 pieces so you can use the included hand tool or a drill to drive the lower part into the ground and you then screw in the upper to the lower. An added benefit is that you can leave the anchor installed, remove the top part and mow overtop of the lower anchor, creating less work for you!

If you have a carport or anything that needs anchored down these tie downs are the best way to go. These are so easy to install it's not funny. Get a drill, socket and run them into the ground. They are pure steel and once in it would take a tornado to rip them out. I bought 8 for my carport and that was the best thing I ever did. At the price a carport is these days, this is a small price to pay for that protection.

I originally bought these as a backup to my normal tent spikes but then I saw how durable they are and switched them out. My old ones would bend when I pushed them into the ground ( okay stomp them into the ground.) now I have sturdy ones and get to use the power tools.

I don't have a trampoline, but these are still perfect for securing my popup canopy. The anchors themselves are well made with great looking welds. The drill adapter is also quite well made and works well with my impact drill. The hand tool works as well but takes some serious elbow grease to drive the auger stakes. I like that washers were included to prevent chafing of the straps, but I replaced the ones provided with some thicker zinc washers.

Our pop up gazebo has been blown and battered around in the last couple weeks due to wind. These stakes that are for a trampoline are a god send for helping keep our gazebo from being a kite. I like the depth of these stakes and the sheet heft of them. We have locked down our gazebo with these stakes and so far we haven't had an issue. I would recommend them.

I use this to tie down a tarp that covers a heavy-duty raft on our lake. I cover the raft then use some carabiner clips to clip the front of the tarp to the rope running on the front of the boat (or the handle). Keeps the boat from deteriorating in the sun.
