Best Traeger I have owned yet. Plenty big, love the clip-on accessories, I added the front folding shelve, cup hold and spice holder.. Supersmoke works great plus the 2 probes.. Absolutely amazing!! Easy to use, great interface, great support… everything is perfect. The install team was questionable and didn’t do the best job, but that doesn’t take away from Traegar. I HIGHLY recommend.

    • Super Smoke Feature Came Broken - Support Won’t Help
Was very excited to use this product. I had waited a while and saved up to purchase it based on the features and reviews. When it arrived and was assembled, I made sure powered on before the assemblers left. It seemed like it was in working order. I tried my first cook a day or two later - smoking some pork belly. The smoker came to the set temp at 225, so I decided to try the super smoke feature. I enabled it and walked away. When I came back to check an hour later, it was reading 325!!! I quickly opened the lid and saw it was cooking very fast. I left the lid open for a little time to bring the temp down and closed it again. I checked again 20 minutes later - sure enough, it was already at 290 again. I left it alone hoping it would self regulate, but it never went below 285 on its own with super smoke enabled. I called Traeger support and they were very unhelpful. They said I couldn’t do anything during the cook, gave me generic troubleshooting steps, and told me to call back another time. I then chatted with Mona in support and she kept making me take pictures and check things, but never offered any different troubleshooting steps from the article that the first person sent. I asked if the could send a technician and she said it would be $100. This thing isn’t even a week old!!! I told her that was unacceptable and she said it’s that or I have to spend hours of my day to fix it myself over the phone with support. A product this expensive should work out of box or be covered by warranty. Buyer beware!!! ... show more

    • Amazon assembly failure
I've only used the smoker once, and the temperature was way higher than the set point most of the time. Because my old setup was so inconsistent, I was used to monitoring the temp and managed to still get some very good ribs by turning off super smoke, and shortening the time when the temp was too high for too long. It seems like a good thing that there is a different thermocouple for setting and reporting the temperature, but there should be some logic that recognizes when the two are off by 50°. Thanks to information on the traeger website, I found the issue with the high temp to be that the Amazon delivery team who assembled the smoker forgot to remove a plastic cap from the thermocouple. In addition to the cap not being removed, two fasteners were left uninstalled and almost none of the fasteners were tightened. 1 star for Amazon assembly. ... show more

Grill does not work. Will not connect to its own app. Failure to download certificates is the error it has thrown up a dozen time. Useless and a waste of money!!! Probably doesn’t help the “installers” did a shoddy job. It squeaks and wobbles. When they left the handed me a bunch of screws “they couldn’t make fit” ... show more
