Best Traeger I have owned yet. Plenty big, love the clip-on accessories, I added the front folding shelve, cup hold and spice holder.. Supersmoke works great plus the 2 probes.. Best part is adding/removing pellets. Get the Traeger plastic bin that fits right under your holder, and you can empty your hopper in seconds. Love it! ... show more

    • Super Smoke Feature Came Broken - Support Won’t Help

Was very excited to use this product. I had waited a while and saved up to purchase it based on the features and reviews. When it arrived and was assembled, I made sure powered on before the assemblers left. It seemed like it was in working order. I tried my first cook a day or two later - smoking some pork belly. The smoker came to the set temp at 225, so I decided to try the super smoke feature. I enabled it and walked away. When I came back to check an hour later, it was reading 325!!! I quickly opened the lid and saw it was cooking very fast. I left the lid open for a little time to bring the temp down and closed it again. I checked again 20 minutes later - sure enough, it was already at 290 again. I left it alone hoping it would self regulate, but it never went below 285 on its own with super smoke enabled. I called Traeger support and they were very unhelpful. They said I couldn’t do anything during the cook, gave me generic troubleshooting steps, and told me to call back another time. I then chatted with Mona in support and she kept making me take pictures and check things, but never offered any different troubleshooting steps from the article that the first person sent. I asked if the could send a technician and she said it would be $100. This thing isn’t even a week old!!! I told her that was unacceptable and she said it’s that or I have to spend hours of my day to fix it myself over the phone with support. A product this expensive should work out of box or be covered by warranty. Buyer beware!!! ... show more

The favorite part of this smoker is the fact that you can control temps and get full diagnostics on your food directly on the app. Along with being able to name it whatever you want.
