Traeger is great. I particularly like baking bread in my Dutch oven. We received complementary assembly and the workers were prompt and efficient. We had planned to assemble ourselves but having it done for us was wonderful.

Purchased the Treager Ironwood 650 in July 2025. Power cord connection was very poor. Any bump would cause a loss of power. The problem with this is that you then had to power reset the whole system and get it reconnected to bluetooth and wifi. Should be simple but it is not. Used the grill on thanksgiving and attempted to use it in January. It had again lost power, but now the display is dead. They sent me a whole new hopper assembly. It took me 4 hours over 2 days to get the grill operating again. Customer service is tedious, so plan on hours, not minutes to get problems resolved. Online help videos are not complete. If you don't have mechanical apptitude, do not buy this grill. I have spent more time with customer service, waiting for slow shipping of parts and rebooting the system than I have cooking. When it works, it works well, which isn't very often. I would return it if possible, but I bought it on amazon and it is not possible to dissasemble it and re box it to ship back. If you buy a Treager, get the old style with no digital parts. They have a long way to go to get this product ready for use. ... show more

I've only used the smoker once, and the temperature was way higher than the set point most of the time. Because my old setup was so inconsistent, I was used to monitoring the temp and managed to still get some very good ribs by turning off super smoke, and shortening the time when the temp was too high for too long. It seems like a good thing that there is a different thermocouple for setting and reporting the temperature, but there should be some logic that recognizes when the two are off by 50°. Thanks to information on the traeger website, I found the issue with the high temp to be that the Amazon delivery team who assembled the smoker forgot to remove a plastic cap from the thermocouple. In addition to the cap not being removed, two fasteners were left uninstalled and almost none of the fasteners were tightened. 1 star for Amazon assembly. ... show more

Best Traeger I have owned yet. Plenty big, love the clip-on accessories, I added the front folding shelve, cup hold and spice holder.. Supersmoke works great plus the 2 probes.. Best part is adding/removing pellets. Get the Traeger plastic bin that fits right under your holder, and you can empty your hopper in seconds. Love it! ... show more
