  • As expected and beyond
Color: Bronze Style: Grill
Very happy with the Traeger. Used it for this past season and love it compared to my old charcoal grills. I am new to smoking meat and this has made it simple and the tastes are much better than expected. Holds temperature well for being thin metal. Hope it lasts me a couple decades.

  • This Traeger rocks
Color: Bronze Style: Grill
This traeger is perfect for a family of 4 or less. The surface area is just right for cooking. The WiFi is awesome, but make sure your signal is strong. It cooks evenly and the food is great. The app for the WiFi models is also great as there are a ton of features that can be used. I would highly recommend this specific model. ... show more

  • The Best Smoker and Grill
Color: Bronze Style: Grill
By far the easiest smoker to operate. It cooks without you managing the fire and frees up your time. Can’t believe I waited this long to get one!

  • A great BBQ/Smoker
Color: Black Style: Grill
This is my second purchase of a Traeger. The first one I purchased was probably one of the first ones that Traeger came out with and it served us well but it needed to be replaced. I purchased a second one for this past Thanksgiving as we wanted to smoke a turkey. It turned out amazing! It’s a wonderful upgrade and the price was right. We were also able to get it delivered very quickly. Everything we have cooked on it has been fantastic! ... show more

  • One of the all time best things I have ever bought
Color: Black Style: Grill
The title is not an exaggeration, i know some people may use a new grill like any other toy. Play with it a lot at first and then a month later is collects dust. This has not been my case, I have found my self using my Traeger 3-4 times a week every week since I bought it. Cleaning it is easy, I use the foil products they sell to keep it fresh. Every couple grill's I throw away the cheap Traeger foil, and all I have to do is scrub the grades in between grills. I do buy Traeger pellets and they are pretty cheep compared to propane, i’m sure you could buy offbrand and they would work. I just have not felt it was worth the gamble over $3 or $4 dollars a bag. last but not least it’s almost a no-brainer to cook with as well, you can Google almost any food, followed by Traeger and they have the exact cook time and temperature on their website. You can cook pretty much anything on it as well, sometimes I just do baked potatoes as a side dish because they come out a lot more fluffy than the oven or microwave. 10/10 would buy a Traeger again ... show more

  • Can’t Believe I Waited So Long
Color: Bronze Style: Grill
Have had this grill 1 month. Assembly was easy but requires 2 people. It is a breeze to take apart and clean. I try to clean it after every other cooking. The 575 with WIFI allows you to start the ignition process then go back to doing whatever you were doing. The smoke is subtle but man does it flavor the food. It is not the smoke but the smoke vapor that seasons the food. I have cooked beef, pork, chicken and veggies. They all turned out wonderfully. I am an old charcoal smoker but now I am a pellet convert. A word to the wise. Do not try to save money by using pellet stove pellets. They do not work. The pellets are not consistent and can’t be controlled. I thought I was going to burn down the whole damned neighborhood. Spring for the good pellets. Otherwise you risk a runaway. ... show more

  • READ BEFORE BUYING
Color: Bronze Style: Grill
Update: I was partially incorrect. The controller temp is typically 25-40 degrees cooler than what the ambient temperature actually reads (I purchased a third party probe). So as long as you increase the temp by that amount to make up for it, it does maintain that temp really well. I updated my review to four starts. It does have some design short comings still. And it would be nice for the controller to just work properly. RESEARCH AND GOOGLE TRAEGER PRO 575 BEFORE BUYING This grill cannot maintain low temperatures. You want to use this thing for "low and slow" cooks. When you set it to low temps (below 300 in my experience), it rockets to temperatures much higher than you set the controller to. See pic. The thing doesn't get below 220 when you set it at 165. Each support person will tell you something different "it's the firmware version", "it's the controller". The steps to manually update firmware they send you do not work. You can't pull an update, you have to wait for it to get pushed. Traeger shipped me a new controller and it made no difference. The thermocoupler (heat probe) location is the worst location you can put it. You'll have a hard time not banging into it when putting the bottom grill grate in and out. The hopper clean out should have at least been on the side of the box, not on the back. Good luck fitting a 5 gallon bucket (like they recommend to use for pellets) behind that. You're going to spill them all over It's unfortunate it's littered with little issues, because it seems to be built really well. The shipping weight was extremely heavy. You'll also find plenty of peeling paint quality control issues over the web and a lot of issues with wireless and connectivity issues last year. I'd wished I'd gotten something else. I'd look at a model that isn't this one or a different manufacturer if I were you. ... show more
