The TOTO® Drake® Two-Piece Elongated 1.28 GPF Universal Height TORNADO FLUSH® Toilet with CEFIONTECT® is a beautifully designed high profile toilet. The Drake features TOTO’s TORNADO FLUSH®, a rimless, hole-free design with dual- nozzles that creates a centrifugal washing action that assists in rinsing the bowl more efficiently. This version of the TOTO Drake includes CEFIONTECT®, a layer of exceptionally smooth glaze that minimizes waste from sticking to the ceramic. CEFIONTECT, coupled with TORNADO FLUSH, assists to reduce the frequency of toilet cleanings, minimizing the usage of water, harsh chemicals, and time required for cleaning. This version of the TOTO Drake is designed in TOTO’s Universal Height, which allows for a more comfortable seat position across a wide range of users. This version of the Drake has a left-hand chrome trip lever, is ADA compliant, and meets the standards for EPA WaterSense®, and California’s CEC and CALGreen requirements. The Drake bowl and tank set includes a tank to bowl gasket, tank to bowl hardware, and toilet bolt caps. Additional items needed for installation and use must be purchased separately: wax ring, toilet mounting bolts, water supply lines, and toilet seat.

    • no more hard water stains!
I was a little worried by other reviews that the toilet might arrive broken/damaged in transit, but mine came in mint condition. You need to buy your own wax ring, and you need to buy separately the screws that screw into the flange in the floor, but I just used the same flange screws from the old toilet, since they were brass and in good condition. The install was mostly simple, but keep in mind that it is a two piece toilet, where the tank must be screwed into the bowl after the bowl is attached to the floor. Because of the limited space I had around the toilet, this meant for me that it took a while to attach the tank because it was awkward to get my wrench to where it needed to be. Those are the only "cons", everything else about the finished toilet is great. It flushes fast and clean, with less water use. The coating on the bowl means that I won't get the hard water stains that my old bowl had (my town has hard water), but the coating also means that I cannot use bleach or harsh chemicals to clean the bowl. ... show more

It has a very quiet and full flush. It is pretty amazing given the water it uses. But the tornado action has a flaw. Where the debris sticks is where the water action is at its weakest. The design is basically incomplete. We replaced two older model Toto Drake models with these since we were very happy with the old ones (we went to comfort height). Unfortunately, we have two bathrooms and replaced both at the same time. My suggestion is if you want to buy two of these and have two bathrooms, buy one and try it out first. If you have one bathroom, I would suggest looking somewhere else. ... show more

    • Great toilet! Have now ordered and received two Toto toilets direct from Amazon.
The media could not be loaded. These toilets work great and were pretty easy to install. After reading instructions and watching a couple of YouTube videos, I installed them myself. The only tricky part was removing the two toilets they replaced, which were almost 30 years old. I was very hesitant to order initially because I received a shattered toilet from a third party seller at Amazon. However, the two I ordered directly from Amazon (Prime) arrived in perfect condition. The Toto brand, in my opinion is the best toilet on the market! When we purchase a home, one of the first things we do is replace the toilets with Toto toilets. They function perfectly, save water and are easy to clean/keep clean. We have never had any issues, they are just that good.

The TOTO Drake series is highly regarded. Based on reviews and feedback from a few pros it was a good fit for my project. I had 3 units installed as part of a home refresh. Flush system works very well. Flushes and fills are fast. Plumber installer also commented on the quality of the units.
