This is an amendment to my prior review which the Toshiba Air Fryer broke down while cooking pizza. I deleted that review since I had trouble amending it for this subsequent review. The Toshiba support center sent me a replacement Toshiba Air Fryer and it is working perfectly with no issues. I air fried fish fillet and it came out crispy on the outside and very moist on the inside. I cooked a frozen pizza and it was cooked perfect crispy crust while the toppings were moist and soft. This air fryer have preset settings you can use for your convenience and has memory that remembers your last settings so you won't need to adjust the setting the next time you air fry the same food. I love the finish of this Toshiba Air Fryer with gray stainless that do not collect finger prints compared to competitors' polished or brushed stainless steel that are finger print magnets. The inside of the Toshiba Air Fryer is enameled including the baking tray which make it super easy to clean and maintain compared to competitor's stainless steel air fryer that collects smudges and oil splatters from the food. This 34 Qt Toshiba Air Fryer has surprisingly smaller foot print than the competitors air fryer that are just 30 Qt capacity. This Toshiba Air Fryer has double glass doors that keeps the door cooler compared to most competitors' single glass door that is very hot during operation. I have owned two stainless steel finished air fryer and the entire air fryer's body and doors are very hot during operation while this Toshiba Air Fryer's body is not very hot during operation compared to it's competitors.This Toshiba Air Fryer is 1750 Watts which is perfect for a 15 Amp circuit breaker while most of the competitor's air fryer requires an upgrade to 20 Amp circuit breaker. Most households have 15 Amp circuit breaker for the electrical outlet so upgrading to 20 Amp circuit breaker is an additional expense. So this Toshiba Air Fryer is a money saver in that respect. I highly recommend this Toshiba Air Fryer to anyone who wants a smaller foot print for a big 34 Qt capacity, a very easy to clean and maintain air fryer due to it's enameled inside finish and baking tray, a non-finger print magnet due to it's gray stainless steel finish, a not very hot body and cooler doors during operation, works perfectly for most households that have 15 Amp circuit breaker so there is no need to upgrade your circuit breaker.     • Persnickety?
Set name: 32L Air Fryer
Purchased this to replace a dying, decade-old Breville. Wanted the air fryer capability and the proofing modes in addition to all the modes the old Breville had. Wasn't happy that the "start" button on the old Breville had developed an attitude and demanded multiple attempts to get it to respond. So we thought that perhaps we should try something else, as the Breville still looks mostly the same, maybe it would have the same issue down the road? Well, snap. This is a really well-built appliance, but it is slower than even the Breville was at making toast. It takes about 8 minutes to toast any of my homemade breads and they aren't really toasted, just browned around the edges and dried out on the surface. The Toshiba has heating elements only around the perimeters of the top and bottom of the oven, so I cannot see how this could possibly provide a decently toasted surface on slices of bread. The old Breville had quartz heating elements arrayed in rows across the top and bottom, so the slices of bread always had an element above them, toasting them a nice, even shade of whatever brown one preferred. So, whereas we purchased this to be an all-around appliance, we do use it primarily to toast and it doesn't seem to do it as quickly or as nicely as we prefer and I wish that we had simply replaced the old Breville with a new Breville that has air fry and proofing capabilities. After all, that lasted a tad over a decade and is still usable, just inordinately frustrating with a button that is increasingly less responsive to touch. The Toshiba did toast store-bought hamburger buns very nicely, so maybe those of you who don't make your own bread will enjoy more success with toast than we have. It is a very nicely built appliance and does everything else well enough, just doesn't toast homemade bread to our persnickety preferences. ... show more

This toaster/ air fryer worked great. For 32 days. Right after the return window closed, it wouldn’t turn on. Contacted Toshiba customer service who told us to mail the over to them at OUR COST and they will take a look at it to see if it warranted a refund. Part of the reason we purchased this models was for Toshiba’s reputation as producing reliable products and their good customer support. Will not buy another Toshiba product again. ... show more
