This order was processed and shipped from the Idaho Amazon fulfillment center, the blame is with Amazon for the missing jack handle. I have a couple extra bottle jack handles, so not a big enough issue to return it. I noticed the jack had already been shipped and returned once before, based on an old shipping label on the cardboard box...so Amazon just put it back in stock (minus the handle) and sold it to me. The quality of the jack seems fine and it works as expected, no oil leaks. I tested it by jacking up my loaded utility trailer in the driveway, it works the same as my other bottle jacks, except it has the two-stage extension, giving it a 2X better lift range ("throw") than the standard bottle jacks, which is important when using for a tire change jack. (The 4"-6" throw of standard bottle jacks is inadequent for changing a flat tire.) To avoid oil leaks, always store your bottle jacks upright!

The jack is not bad, but like many other reviews I am missing a piece of the handle. It had an inspection sticker on it showing it had been inspected and was good, the description said like new condition. So I expected to receive a working jack with all parts meaning both pieces of the handle. A little disappointed about that.

It takes an extreme number of pumps to raise anything a minimal amount. Also, it doesn’t retract once the load is off you have to physically push down on the jack to get it out from under the car. This is my first bottle of Jack. Maybe that’s the way they all operate I don’t know. I’m sticking to a regular floor jacks

If you look at the stock pictures, you see how shiny and smooth the piston surface is. However, right out of the box, first time pump the jack to full length, there are extensive rust and scratches on the piston surface. Keep in mind, the o-rings needs to seal tightly on the piston for it to work (any leak through piston will cause the jack fail to work). So I do not expect it to last or take the full 8 tons weight. Better spend few more bucks to buy a better one, or get one from the big box stores where you can check it out before purchase.
