I like the light for the Amazon Warehouse price, It is decent quality but not heavy duty in any sense. For general lighting on a desk its perfect. If you are going to move the arm of the light frequently you may want a heavier duty light.

Ok for the price I paid, about $19. I agree completely with another reviewer who said the following. Works fine. Note that the desktop stand is pretty rickety, and not quite heavy enough or balanced enough to instill a lot of confidence. I haven't tried the clamp (not useful for my use case) but since it is 100% plastic, I would be wary of using it that way long term. I don't like that the switch is on the cord and not on the lamp, and I wish I had paid closer attention to how small it is. I assumed it was standard sized. ... show more

OK the only reason I’m giving it a four star is I think it needs to be about a $13 light if that maybe $9.99 Reason being is the base is an absolute piece of crap and the lamp itself is actually really nice. It’s super lightweight. Very easy to carry around. I’m buying seven of them for when I do my Jewelry trade shows. However, I’m telling you right now the plastic clamp that holds it to the table it blows my mind. It’s 100% plastic. That thing is not gonna hold up and the base that it comes with not that I would ever use. It is absolute garbage. it broke immediately out of the box however, with that being said, it’s super bright definitely is going to work for my purposes not to mention it’s not bulky and it’s very lightweight.
