I originally bought this electric kettle for my office to heat water for tea, oatmeal, and soup. It heats up incredibly quickly, even faster than my stovetop at home. I've now brought it home and started using it to cook pasta. It's efficient, easy to clean, and the lid doubles as a strainer. The only drawback for home use is its size, which is better suited for one or two people a serving. This electric Cooker is also ideal for students living in dorms who want to cook pasta or make ramen. You can also use it as a bowl after draining the water, but be sure to use plastic or wooden utensils to avoid scratching the nonstick coating. - This version of the Cooker doesn't not have a temperature setting. You may have to look into an upgraded unit for that. UPDATE : After a year of use, I’m unfortunately reporting two issues with this unit. First, the nonstick coating has become quite sensitive to scratches; possibly cause I did use metal utensils, but despite precautions, I’ve ended up with several scratches. Second, when cleaning the unit, I discovered that if water seeps into the holes underneath, it can damage the LED bulb and blow it out near the button. It seems essential to be extremely careful while cleaning to prevent water from getting under the unit. Because of my concerns about the nonstick surface exposing metal, I’ve decided to retire this once-loved unit. I may consider upgrading to the model with a handle and multiple settings. Still an amazing product and will be missed. I may just keep it around to heat water for…something other than eating ?

So happy I purchased this. It works super well and cooks your soup very quickly. I’ve made all kinds of Ramen soup and also other types of soup in it. This would be perfect to have on your desk at work. Just bring the ingredients, right before lunch put them in, and in a few minutes, you have a huge bowl of delicious soup. Really well-made, great value, the perfect size for one person and very well-made. Highly recommend. One of the most used gadgets in my kitchen.

This thing boils water extremely fast! It gets up to a really aggressive boil, so be careful and I would not even fill to the max fill line to avoid splattering since you aren’t supposed to cook with the lid on. It is plastic outside but ceramic j side and it is a decent size and easy to use. I wish the lid could be attached better so that it could be used to carry after cooking finishes rather than caring it around the base-kind of awkward. But it does the job and it makes cooking ramen or soup really quick! I would cook an egg in it though-it just gets too hot too fast and there is no way to adjust or lower the cooking temperature-it’s one temp and that temp is super hot super fast

I was skeptical until I watch the video of others who purchase and showing exactly how it works, well they all were correct this is a "game changer" You not only can cook your ramen noodles, but you can boil eggs, cook rice , with a little olive oil or butter you can fry eggs. if you don't have a stove and you live in a efficiency this would be perfect. I use a little olive oil in the bottom and fry my eggs but you got to be careful not to go over that line when using the liquid for your eggs or for the ramen noodle, do exactly what they say don't cover it after it starts to boil because I made that mistake and it started boiling outside onto countertop, which can be really dangerous. Word of caution. Don't let kids work this. This gets very hot. It starts boiling in like 10 seconds no more than 15 seconds and it continues to keep boiling so be careful watch it don't walk away from it or leave it unattended. Thank me later

I have made an egg, ramen, and everything else . I will say it’s easy to clean and great performance. It doesn’t have a medium heat so once it’s on it’s on to full capacity. It was hard to make rice in this , it was good but not the best . 9/10 for cleaning. A little weary with water and other items. I left this near the sink and people didn’t know it couldn’t be submerged while cleaning.. that’s my only gripe.

Worked great out of the box. Heats up and boils water super fast. Very easy to use with just one button. Makes making 1 serving of instant ramen really easy. I also tested it frying an egg and its works great for that too. Make sure to read the instructions thoroughly, you can't just dunk the whole thing in a tub of water to clean it. Manufacturer recommend using soap and a sponge and only cleaning the inside. I would recommend thoroughly cleaning and boiling some water in it before using it to actually heat up food. Otherwise there will be a slight plastic taste in anything you cook.

I purchased this pot to make fresh lunch at work so I don’t need to eat leftovers anymore. Fresh healthy meals everyday. Love the ceramic interior, this is better than the non stick coating. The pot heat up pretty fast, it takes about 15 minutes to get water boiling. I made clad pot rice (1 pot rice) in 15 minutes. I share my lunch with my coworkers, they love my lunch. The noise is a bit loud when the water get into boiling point. I wish this pot has more than one temperature control. Overall this is a good pot for 1 person, pretty convenient. I made hotpot and rice in this pot so far.

The media could not be loaded. I like that it took about 5 or 6 minutes for the water to boil, it gets really hot fast. Today I made some ramen noodles, it was done less then maybe 5 minutes, I absolutely love it & it's small & easy to use. I recommend this little ramen soup cooker for age 13 and up. The dislike I wish the piece comes off when washing it, you have to becareful not to get water around the plugs.
