Nicely packaged and thoughtfully designed, this little speaker is a great addition to my music enjoying routine! **UPDATE** I received one of the green Bluetooth speakers before this red one here and now I've had the opportunity to use them both at the same time. These speakers connect to each other quickly and easily! Follow the included instructions and you'll have twice the sound in seconds! Together, these speaker provide a great sound in a smaller space and they are quite well synchronized. Even the LEDs are synchronized and you can control your media and volume from either unit. I would highly recommend giving two of these a try! The speakers aren't likely to blow your mind, but given the price I'd say you're likely to enjoy them. I base my reviews heavily on price. Price sets my expectation for what I should be receiving and how well an item should function and how it should look. At the introductory price of $9.99, this is a VERY nice speaker. I've noticed that the price has jumped to $20.00+ here and there, which would change this review to a 4 or 3 star. At $10, you're getting a good deal, period. The overall look and feel to this device is that of a much more premium Bluetooth speaker, despite having a lower price. Though it took some getting used to, I've come to really enjoy the green color! I say this because I received dbsono's green earbuds recently and have absolutely loved them as well! Sound quality is not going to blow your mind, unless you've never owned or listened to a modern Bluetooth speaker. This little guy does the job well and I think that you'll be quite satisfied with what you hear, given the price. Included with this speaker is a nice box and a perfectly serviceable USB C to A cable for charging. If not for yourself, this would be a great gift for your friend or family member! Connectivity seems to be on point, an easy connection and a fairly long distance can be achieved with this unit. Nice little rubber feet are built into the base of this unit, which will keep it nicely positioned on just about any surface you please. The LED lights are a nice inclusion, but nothing to write home about. You can adjust the colors a bit, or turn the lights off completely which IS a nice feature. dbsono has been producing some interesting and affordable products and I look forward to see what they do next! As I mentioned previously, watch the prices on their products. Give this little guy a try and you won't likely be disappointed!

I am impressed. This little in inexpensive speaker impressed me. I am not a connoisseur of audio, but I do like good sound. This speaker for around 10.00 is great. The size is very portable, I love the color, easy to find vs always black in side a carry bag, backpack etc. I tried the sound with different sounds effects from my Samsung Sound Quality and effects Equalizer. It handled all very well, no popping or buzzing at all. I love to listen any type of music from Madame Butterfly to Iron Butterfly (for those old school rockers) old school R&B and it ALL sounds great. I turned the volume all the way up on my phone which turns up the speaker and there was no distortion. The sound outside sounds very good as well. The sound carries enough to hear in my backyard. I don't have a huge backyard but big enough to walk around the house and can still hear the music. This will be great to go to the river with when kayaking. Regarding the appearance and quality of the speaker, looks well made, sturdy, nice little carry handle, the speaker does have silicone feet to stand on. The size of the speaker you can see in pictures next to a soda can, at the longest as long as a soda can is tall, it is about half the width of the can, and about 2/3 the height. The lights are a cute feature, but one that doesn't matter to me. The colors change but they do not change with the beat of the music if that is something you would like. They fade from white, blue, green, red. It charges well, and battery appears good. I am someone who always put on the charger when not using something so it is ready to go when I am. It also does some with a usb C cord for charging. If you are looking for something inexpensive and sounds very good I would say GET IT.

The lights are bright and vibrant. First light mode changes color slowly over time, 2nd solid red, 3rd solid green, fourth solid blue, next press turns the lights off. The build quality feels solid for the price. The speaker is meant to be stood up on it's feet, there are no feet on the back to place it flat and so it moves a bit when playing music. It sounds best on it's feet as well, less harsh. The sound overall is pretty decent for this kind of speaker in this price range. There is some warmth for vocals and acoustics. I wouldn't say there is bass, just mid warmth and that's fine for this size / price. Compared to the Soundcore Select Go 4 which costs $21.99 (at time of review) and is my best sounding speaker for this price range and form factor, this Dbsono speaker isn't as warm in the mid range and way less mature sounding, it has some harshness in the upper mids that the Go 4 doesn't. But you can get two of these Dbsono speakers and pair them in TWS (True Wireless Stereo) and that's where these really shine. (Double press the play button to put them in TWS mode the first time, after that they will automatically pair up together in TWS when both are turned on). In TWS mode they sound WAY louder and more engaging, especially if you put them out to the sides and step into the middle, the stereo effect and volume are quite nice. I imagine the Go 4's sound amazing in TWS but they cost over twice as much and don't have RGB lighting.
