Be aware Topdon jumped on the Dodge BS along with some other scanners that turn this or any scanner they make into a Brick unless you keep a current subscription, you can’t even pull simple codes or clear codes since the latest “update” version. I smell a John Deere style law suite coming soon!

Update: Aug 2026, after the use to repair of my car… $2,000 of parts and I still have the same issues. No longer fantastic product. Sure it gives you all the bells and whistles. However, it gives you ONLY the section where the errors occurred not down to the components. For free, you can go to an auto part store where they scan your car for free Dow to the part you need. It also does not erase permanent error codes. Even if you replace all the components. Initially gave it: 10 Stars 🌟 ! Absolutely the Best for any DIY out there. It goes beyond expectations and simplicity is a must to have to get a professional opinion (or second) on any analysis. Don’t be left in the dark or get swindled by un-honest mechanics. Must have, easy to use, speed and features are excellent. UPDATE: By no doubt, this is one of the best systems out there to DIY mechanic's. With that being said, I only have two cars that I keep and the renewal cost of $495 after the first two years is disappointing. I was told that the renewal cost would not be needed to continue for the current cars that I have unless I get newer cars to my inventory.
