Bought this unit in February after our full size water cooler ( had for over 10 years/ different make) died. Loved that it was small and convenient. The hot water was plenty hot for tea. The cold could have been colder but it was passable. Yesterday, we planned to be out for the day but at the last moment , plans were changed. We stayed home. During the day, we smelled plastic burning, but as we situated near the community dumpster, the windows were open so we thought it was just the dumpster… as it has been previous times. Suddenly, my wife is screaming ‘fire’! I ran into the room and saw the unit ablaze! Smoke and soot filled the room. I unplugged the unit and was able to remove the water jug( a full one) and threw the unit into the shower to put it out. If my wife and I had kept our plans, we would have come home to a burnt out apartment. Pictures included. ... show more

This is a perfect idea for when you don’t want the large water machines. But the water isn’t really all that cold so that’s annoying. But it’s still worth buying.

Great product. Hot, cold and warm water. Using a three gallon jug on mine. Only thing is mine only has a switch on the back for cold water, instructions say there is also a hot water switch but not on mine. When you turn the power on the hot water heaters automatically, the cold you need to turn the rear switch on. ... show more

The delivery was quick, arrived a couple of days early. Nice and neat appliance. Actually zero stars for flavor, and that's because there is nothing that's flavored. The item it self has a small footprint, which is great, but however I assume that due to the size it is very difficult for the cooling and heating of the water to be appropriate. Once it says it's ready you may get a half glass of cool water at best. Never cold, the hot side will give enough to start a cup of noodles cooking. ... show more

This water dispenser Looks good, but the water that comes out is basically room temperature from the "cold" side and warm, but definitely not Hot on the hot side. You couldn't make a cup of coffee or tea from it.
