When opened, it seemed a bit fragile. However it survived the winter storms wrapped around a tree. A few hours of light at night on cloudy days, and sometimes lasted all night after very bright days. Nice colors, and several good twinkling options.

I really liked these solar lights at first. They were so pretty, with a nice subtle glow. But they should not be advertised as outdoors. They lasted two weeks. I had them securely fastened to a cable for support and there was no tension on the wires, but the wires have snapped already. This is not heavy enough gauged wiring to be outside in any kind of weather. Of course it took me a while to put them up and by the time they failed, it was past the return window. I’m disappointed. So far, theyve Been in snow and sub zero temperatures and still working. UPDATE - Ok, theses lights are incredibly great and such a great price. I used both sets on a 7-foot full natural Christmas-like tree in the front yard. It snowed twice and the solar panels I put in the groundwere covered. Both times snow melted in a couple of days ans afterwards both sers still worked perfectly! Even on just cloudy days them seemed to charge and worked through the night. Very difficult to untangle and manage. Two packs of these bulbs took two people three hours to install on the deck rail. There must be something better so I would recommend looking elsewhere. Having said that I haven't seen them light up yet. We'll see.
