The first thing I noticed about this soft-sided cat carrier was the off-gassing. I'm not overly sensitive but I noticed it right away so people who are sensitive to chemical smells might keep that in mind. Within 10 minutes it was completely gone but I did take a wipe and wipe down the mesh which is where it seemed to be coming from. The first thing I checked out was the zippers, there are a lot of zippers. You have both ends unzip to open so you can store this flat, then you have a tunnel shaped zipper on the end to put your pet inside, or you have a zipper on the side to open one sidewall. There are also a couple other smaller zippers. They appear to be good quality, somewhat heavy duty they zipped and unzipped with ease without catching it all. There is a pocket on one end of the carrier, it would be great to stick your pets papers in if you are traveling. There is a fuzzy fake fur covered bottom piece that at first appearance feels kind of cheap. However you can unzip it and take out the foam board and thin piece of foam and wash it so that is very helpful. I have another carrier and while the bottom fur lined piece feels more substantial I cannot remove the insides of it which is a problem because it's cardboard. I plan to replace the what feels like packaging foam inside with furniture foam so it's more comfy for my kitty cat. You will also get a strap with a shoulder pad that clips on with carabiners to the carrier. The material is a nice smooth nylon of some type. The stitching appears to be well done, I don't see this falling apart easily and if you have a kitty cat who does not travel well and might want to scratch the sub I think it could take the abuse with no problem. I have 15 to 17 lb male cats. One actually couldn't wait to get in this thing and check it out. He approved. He also fit with no problem. He's a big boy and he was able to get in lay down turn around and move freely without any problems. Overall I'm very happy with this I think it's a well-made can't carrier. I would definitely recommend this if you need something to take Kitty along with you on your adventures.

This Zedkeys Cat Carrier is an excellent example of thoughtful design meeting everyday practicality. The size is perfect for my Bengal cat. I like that it is compliant with airline under seat requirements; important for selecting a carrier for travel. Having a carrier that transitions seamlessly from car to cabin adds a level of convenience that frequent travelers will appreciate. The construction quality is immediately noticeable. The durable, lightweight Oxford fabric, the fact that the carrier is both waterproof and scratch resistant is key for maintaining longevity and cleanliness; especially if used for a cat. I like the three sided breathable mesh panels. It has plenty of ventilation and it allows easy visibility to monitor your pet without disruption. I also like the removable plush cushion. It is soft but supportive; great for short trips or extended travel, while the machine washable design ensures easy maintenance. Additionally, the integrated side pocket offers convenient storage for essentials such as treats, documents, or small accessories. A sturdy steel rod frame maintains the carrier’s structure and prevents collapsing. Reinforced zippers and an internal safety leash help to prevent accidental escapes; important if you have an excitable pet and are traveling in noisy or busy areas. I like that it has both a cushioned handle and an adjustable, padded shoulder strap so I can change my toting position if my arm or hand gets tired. The added functionality of using the strap as a seatbelt attachment is a particularly practical detail for car travel. Finally, its foldable, lightweight construction makes storage simple when not in use. The carrier is an excellent value.

Overall, we like this cat carrier and have actually replaced our previous one with it. It’s especially convenient for occasional use, like trips to the vet, since it folds down easily for compact storage when not in use. Setup is quick and straightforward, and it assembles without any hassle. One of the standout features is the thoughtful design. There are multiple entry points, including side and end openings, which make it easier to get your cat in and out without a struggle. The breathable mesh panels provide plenty of ventilation and allow you to keep an eye on your pet during travel. There’s also a side pocket that’s handy for storing paperwork, treats, or small essentials. The interior includes a removable, washable cushion, which is a nice touch for keeping things clean. It’s comfortable enough for short trips, and the fact that it can be unzipped and cleaned is very practical. The carrier is also lightweight but maintains its shape well thanks to the internal frame, and it feels stable during use. The included safety leash attachment inside is another useful feature for added security. It's easily transported, and about the right size for most indoor cats. That said, there are a few downsides. When first opening the package, there is a noticeable chemical odor, although it does dissipate fairly quickly. The materials, while decent, don’t feel quite as durable as some heavier-duty carriers we’ve used in the past. Additionally, the zippers work, but they’re not as smooth as we’d prefer and can feel a bit stiff at times. Another issue we ran into is that the product is supposed to include a shoulder strap, but ours did not come with one. Since the packaging was sealed, this could be a quality control issue that might affect other units as well. Despite these minor drawbacks, the carrier performs well overall. It’s comfortable for the cat, easy to use, and very convenient to store. For the price and features, it’s a solid option—just not quite perfect.
