This ceiling fan light upgrade kit was relatively easy to install, provided you are matching the same voltage currently in your fan light. In my case I was going from a 24V DC light to this 120V AC kit, so I had to remove the current converter inside the fan and then run the 120V wiring to this light. Cheap plastic wire connectors are included, but I used WAGO pass through connectors instead for a more reliable connection. The lights works perfectly with no flickering and dims evenly. The color temperatures are close to accurate and are very bright at 100%. Highly recommended if your ceiling fan light is dim or broken. The product works as advertised. There's not much information on how to install the light or change the light color in the package so, let me give you a little. You will have to cut the wires in the fan or light to have a direct connection to the new light. For that reason, I gave it a 4/5 stars but, to be fair, how else could they do it with all the different light setups there are? Also, I had to remove the insulation from the bottom of the fan so the magnets could work to hold the light in place. To change the light colors, you have to turn the light on and off in less the 10 seconds to toggle between the three different light settings. The dimmer works from your controller. This light works fantastic, I had to make some modifications because is not the original replacement to my fan light but it was easy installation, just by switching on and off you have 3 different light temperatures, white, yellowish and amber tone, the light is bright and I hope it lasts a long time. ... show more

Had no problem. Light is much brighter now. Only issue I had was the current light I was replacing had an LED light panel. This unit comes with an LED transformer built into the LED light panel. So I needed to remove the lights LED transformer and directly wire to the replacement LED light panel.
