It turned out better then I expected. The fabric is a linen and not see through in my opinion. It came out wrinkled from the package so ironing is needed. I hung it up and used a steamer which took out the wrinkles. I pressed the top of the pleats down a little so i wasn't too poofed up. The buttons are 2 inches in diameter. This shower curtain is a nice heavy linen. I had to steam the wrinkles out, but it was easy. It is not sheer at all with a cream shower liner behind it and being linen, it is not water resistant. Use a liner. Its very and I am pleased with my purchase.

I got this curtain at a great price and am thrilled with it. However, I see very similar items for sale for double to triple what I paid. If I had paid that price, I would be upset. So please keep that in mind when reading the rest of the review. As many reviews stated, I lost a button almost immediately upon opening. I can sew it back on, so not a big deal. The buttons themselves don't seem to be great quality though. The finish is very uneven, and looked weathered immediately. I plan on removing all the buttons, painting them, then sewing them back on. Something I'm willing to do for the price I paid. The fabric isn't water proof, and I did need to put a liner behind this curtain. But I love the fabric it's made of! It doesn't wrinkle and it doesn't get smelly. It also looks very natural which is what I was going for. I did have to wash it once, and it held up really well. Overall, I would absolutely recommend the product, but at a certain price point that would change. ... show more

This is me taking this ugly thing down after a week hoping the wrinkles would relax. It is absolutely the ugliest shower curtain I’ve ever seen! And I missed the time to send this piece of crap back! It is made of a material that is course, ruff and something like a crude sack of potatoes or something. It also does not have pleats as is shown in the product picture. Mine had a crooked seam across the middle, random and uneven gathers spots. I left it up for a week trying not to hate it but the longer it was up the more I loathed this piece of hideous junk. ... show more

I do really love this curtain. It was a pain to iron but that’s okay. What wasn’t okay is the poor quality control. One of the hole for shower hook was skipped so I had to cut a hole and than two of the decorative button where loose and hanging so I had to sew them on correctly. They are also more worn looking than expected. I could of sent for exchange or return but I didn’t want to wait and I didn’t want to pay the new $47 price tag, for an item that may always have these issues. (Plus I all ready spent 30-40min ironing) I have 2 other bathrooms Im redoing and these issues have me questioning wether or not I want to buy from this seller again.
