It turned out better then I expected. The fabric is a linen and not see through in my opinion. It came out wrinkled from the package so ironing is needed. I hung it up and used a steamer which took out the wrinkles. I pressed the top of the pleats down a little so i wasn't too poofed up. The buttons are 2 inches in diameter. It’s prettier than I expected. Nice heavy linen look fabric. Nice big buttons. I’ve been looking for a “quiet” shower curtain; Tasteful, not loud with a crazy print. They are hard to come by. I got this curtain at a great price and am thrilled with it. However, I see very similar items for sale for double to triple what I paid. If I had paid that price, I would be upset. So please keep that in mind when reading the rest of the review. As many reviews stated, I lost a button almost immediately upon opening. I can sew it back on, so not a big deal. The buttons themselves don't seem to be great quality though. The finish is very uneven, and looked weathered immediately. I plan on removing all the buttons, painting them, then sewing them back on. Something I'm willing to do for the price I paid. The fabric isn't water proof, and I did need to put a liner behind this curtain. But I love the fabric it's made of! It doesn't wrinkle and it doesn't get smelly. It also looks very natural which is what I was going for. I did have to wash it once, and it held up really well. Overall, I would absolutely recommend the product, but at a certain price point that would change. ... show more

This shower curtain is a nice heavy linen. I had to steam the wrinkles out, but it was easy. It is not sheer at all with a cream shower liner behind it and being linen, it is not water resistant. Use a liner. Its very and I am pleased with my purchase.

This is me taking this ugly thing down after a week hoping the wrinkles would relax. It is absolutely the ugliest shower curtain I’ve ever seen! And I missed the time to send this piece of crap back! It is made of a material that is course, ruff and something like a crude sack of potatoes or something. It also does not have pleats as is shown in the product picture. Mine had a crooked seam across the middle, random and uneven gathers spots. I left it up for a week trying not to hate it but the longer it was up the more I loathed this piece of hideous junk. ... show more

I purchased the dark linen. In the picture it looks like it is lighter on top, it is not. It is the same color linen all the way through. The buttons are very floppy but nothing fell off. The buttons left small dark spots on the linen curtain. I’ve hung the curtains and removed the wrinkles with my steamer with no problem. I am disappointed. I do not feel that it is worth the money I was charged. Since I already bought towels and a rug to match the linen I will keep it. If the top had been lighter it really would’ve helped pull the whole room together. ... show more
