  • Great place for my feathered friends. Great place for my feathered friends.
Size: 120.1"L x 79.2"W x 76.8"H
TLDR; this is a great chicken run/chicken coop extension, worth the money you're paying for it, has everything you will need to build it and not much extra, so be careful to not waste the zip ties and chicken wire. Pros: - Lots of space - Great price, you're getting a lot of materials for not too much - Instructions were easy to follow - You have enough of everything to get the final product and have a safe place for your girls to be (boys too if you have roosters) - I was able to put it together by myself easily in a couple hours. At the end my wife helped with the zip ties to make it less tedious and get it done a little faster. - Tarp on the top is perfectly sized so it is snug with the little bungee holders that come with the package. It provides shade which is vital in the hot sunny climes of Florida I've set up our chicken coop next to the run, and cut a little door that the girls can go through to freely traverse back and forth. They're really enjoying the extra space they're getting. We have 6 young chickens and they're doing very well with this space. Cons (not many, nothing serious): - It needs some extra weight/stakes to hold it down in case there's any serious wind. I'm watching for any serious storms and will take down the tarp if so, otherwise it will likely get blown away. - You're getting pretty much JUST enough zip ties and chicken wire for this set up, which is fine. You may be better at cutting and sizing each of the pieces of chicken wire, but when I finished I had NO more zip ties left and just a few scrap pieces of chicken wire. At the beginning I was sure I would have spare wire and definitely spare zip ties, but that turned out not to be the case. You can see from one of the pictures all the zip ties before I cut the tails off. Lots of zip ties needed here! In any case, this is definitely a good purchase for a beginner's brood so as to not have your girls "cooped up" ;-) ... show more

  • Frame is great Frame is great
Size: 156.1"L x 108.0"W x 78.0"H
Great size for my five chickens. The frame is easy to assemble alone. It came with plenty of chicken wire. However, zipties aren't sufficient to prevent predators from breaking in. The stakes are also insufficient to tie the coop down in high winds. I purchased better stakes to keep it anchored. I also bought additional wire to tie the chicken wire to the frame and reinforced with hardware cloth around the bottom. The door is flimsy and easily bent. A skunk easily pushed the bottom of the door in last month. I purchased carabiners and chain to latch the top and bottom more securely. The tarp is probably the weakest link here, though. I purchased this in March and the tarp was ruined by July. I will be building a more permanent rain cover for the coop this fall. All in all, the coop is a decent bang for your buck. Just expect to put some additional work and sturdier parts into security and rain cover. ... show more

  • Awesome Chicken Coop! Awesome Chicken Coop!
Size: 78.1"L x 108.0"W x 78.0"H
Put this together by myself in a day. I love the way the poles snap together. All parts arrived and were packed very well. This is the perfect structure for our needs. Priced right and high quality, lightweight construction. Would recommend this to anyone wanting 4 to 10 backyard hens. Update: After writing this review about 3 1/2 months ago, I did some extra bracing and customization. The roof needed 4 more supports to carry the weight of snow. Also reinforced the chicken wire at the bottom by wrapping 24" chicken wire completely around the coop for added protection from predators. Plus another tarp for weatherproofing. More secure door latching is also a must. Then I ran paver bricks around the base also to deter predators. Overall it is a great basic coop to begin with. Then have fun making it your own. Extremely satisfied with the end result! Just got our chicks and they're going to love it for years to come. ... show more

  • It's a decent metal coop, but the tarp leaks and tears easily. It's a decent metal coop, but the tarp leaks and tears easily.
Size: 120.1"L x 79.2"W x 76.8"H
It is lacking where the instructions are concerned and it was difficult for me to put together by myself. I am dissapointed with the tarp. It leaks water on the inside of the cage. I put it straight onto the structure from the bag and it leaks. Within a few months the tarp tore and it has to be replaced. I used the plastic zip ties to secure the fencing and then used metal zip ties for more stability. I would recommend buying metal zip ties for this. Some of the structure is a bit wobbly, but overall seems durable. The support structure seems thick and solid. It is a decent size. At first it seemed like a good value for the money, but after a few months I had to do a lot of reinforcement. It functions fairly well for housing my quail. I would recommend placing bricks around the bottom so predators can't dig into it. The chicken wire that comes with this coop is thin and broke in several places within 4-5 months. I would recommend either buying good quality chicken wire or looking for a kennel that's more durable. For the price I would probably look for something more durable. ... show more

  • Better than I thought it would be
Size: 156.2"L x 108.0"W x 78.0"H
It came a few days earlier than expected. Decent packaging but long and heavy box. Picture diagrams for assembly. Quality pretty good. 1 inch pipe bars not 1.5. Spring load lock bars was a plus made it easier. Some bolts for bracing, corners, and door assembly. Bolts not the greatest quality so don’t over torque. Did come with a couple extra. It did come with a good wrench to use but I suggest an impact drill. It comes with plenty of thin chicken wire. If you want your animals secure, I suggest 3 ft hardware wire to go around the base and the 1.5 ft to run underneath the bottom edges. They give you 350 zip ties to tie the wire on. Mine took over 500 and a box of bandages, but I’m OCD. It did take me 3 half days to do it by myself however, I’m overworked and not very motivated. I suggest you have a helper or 5 because the wire and zip ties becomes very tedious. Just a heads up, the zip ties will become fragile and break with the cold and warm temperatures. Soo looking forward to that later…. ... show more

I do not have money to waste on defective products. This is terrible horrible customer service. Amazon has reassured me that is problem will be resolve and my money returned without me being further inconvenience by this horrible error. I have been waiting to resolve this issue for weeks. I need my money back and need Amazons assistance to resolve this without further waiting time as was promised without further inconvenience. • Holding up well Holding up well
Size: 120.1"L x 79.2"W x 76.8"H
I've purchased two of these. One with rounded top and one pointed top. Assembly for both was easy. Just time consuming. The tarp help up fine through the summer. For winter I purchased a clear tarp to allow for sunlight for our chickens. I can probably get another summer out of the tarp before I'd have to replace it. It was the best bang for my buck that I could find. I secured the frame down to 4x6's on one. The other I bought 18" ground steaks as it isn't very heavy. It's sturdy enough though, I have moved mine twice. I am happy with this purchase. ... show more

  • Nice coop (cheap supplies)
Size: 156.1"L x 108.0"W x 78.0"H
This coop is pretty nice, didnt come with all the stakes but enough to hold it down, the wire is SUPER cheap quality (but hey! Easy to cut!) so Im adding an extra layer (I had to buy the extra wire) around the bottom. Its Pretty spacious my Ducks seem to like it! Also the tarp it comes with is surprisingly good quality! The box that it comes in weighs around 80lbs so be prepared to lift a heavy box or have someone help you move it. The latch is NOT predator proof! for one person assembling the coop itself it took me around 2 1/2ish hours for the frame, and I had help putting the wire on but that with 2 people took about 3hrs itself just cutting, and securing the wire to the frame (if you take the time to fill in holes around the bottom so larger predators cant get in). Doesnt come with enough zip ties be prepared to buy atleast 100 more because the zip ties they send with this coop are very cheaply made as well!!! But im overall impressed with it! And pretty easy assembly (just time consuming) And one more thing is one if the poles for around the base was slightly bent upon arrival but not enough to effect the coop itself and it still fit the other pole, and Ive had no issues with it so far! ... show more
