We got this to use for our chicken run. I read the review and knew what I was getting- it’s exactly as described. Customer service was also excellent, as there was a shipping snafu that was 100% the fault of FedEx. Know that this is a starting point. It’s lightweight, easy to assemble (though a pain, as chicken wire always is). Chicken wire is meant to keep chickens in, not to keep predators out. So it absolutely has to be reinforced with the heavier duty wire cloth to make it predator proof. But all enclosures will require that, so it wasn’t a big deal. The door latch is very easy to open, even for my chickens, so we have reinforced that as well. Also- the gaps around the door are not predator proof or chicken proof (some of ours ran right through it), so we put pool noodles to fill the space and zip tied a board over the gap as well. You will want to anchor this as it’s very lightweight. Overall, a good purchase and we are very happy with it. ... show more

This was way easier to install than the other reviews had listed. The only challenge was using the zip ties to attack the chicken wire which was quite tedious. All in all it took about 5 hours to assemble singlehandedly. The only gripe is some of the pieces would have made the pen stronger if they had a set screw to hold them in place rather that just a friction clamp. Great enclosure for any small animal. I bought it to use for my small/medium dogs (the only reason I wouldn't put my big dog in it is because shes a digger) You could even line it with chain link on top of the wire to make it even stronger. Very spacious (13' long) I would recommend having help, 3 people put up mine and it made it so much better than just me. ... show more

I was skeptical about purchasing this pen for my outdoor cats. I wanted something to protect them during the day while they were getting some fresh air. This pen was very easy to put together and the tarp that came with it covered half to give them some shade. The only downside to this pen was the zip ties they were too small and frail to endure the hot temp. Since I was afraid that they would not last very long, I went to the local hardware store and purchased the heavy duty zip ties, that worked perfect. ... show more

Looked easy and its what was advertised, however the instructions were not that easy to follow. All the poles looked the same and if you did not read through several times you could easily put the base poles in backwards. The drawings did not illustrate holes in some of the poles so after putting the bottom poles together i realized they were different and had to disassemble and start over. It did take me a while like 4 hours with help to get the frame together (some of the poles were not bundled so had to separate and group together. Almost all poles were marked with A1 A2 etc around 1/3 did not have any stickers. I would suggest reading the instructions front to back 2 times then separating and grouping the poles then examine to see where holes were etc before starting. The product is a good value for money and arrived early (1 box and doesnt look like all there but it is), and once we figured it out it moved faster. 1 note, the zip ties they included (there are plenty) are not very strong, i went and bought some black automotive zip ties which were longer stronger and easier to use. The tarp will not last long also but you can get a stronger one and it will work. I was able to put the coop together by my self, however there was one big problem with the assembly. The instruction manual indicated two types of corner base posts holders (two of E1 and two of E2). I received 4 E1s therefore I could not place the corner uprights in correctly with out drilling new holes in two of the E1s. I do like the finished coop. ... show more
